We have an immediate need for a results-oriented, innovative global consumer marketer to support our high-profile Littlest Pet Shop Franchise brand. In conjunction with the objectives set in the global brand strategy, you will build a cohesive and actionable Franchise marketing and merchandising plans for the brand, leveraging the best thinking from around the world and realizing synergies in execution. Partnering with our Global Franchise Leader, you will provide strategic vision and inspiration to franchise initiatives within licensing, digital product & social platforms as well as deliver global merchandising, marketing and product development. You will lead aggressive category growth by developing integrated category merchandising programs around and across the blueprint. You will be an outspoken advocate for the Littlest Pet Shop Franchise branded play strategy and “retail-tainment”.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities::

Under the general direction of the Global Franchise Leader and senior team, you will:

- Establish overarching brand platforms and communications messaging that resonates with consumers to solve critical business challenges for the Franchise across multiple regions. In partnership with the Franchise Leader, craft long-term strategic vision and cross-category growth plans. Works with markets to ensure regional and local execution of the strategy.

- Collaborate with toy product marketing and development, internal partners and agency leadership to drive integrated communications and digital franchise marketing programs. Ensure an Integrate strategy with merchandising and develop cohesive communications planning that builds the franchise, “retail-tainment”, drives traffic, and hits financial targets.

- Build strong relationships across the brand blueprint teams, leveraging best practices and realizing synergies in execution.

- Lead the definition and deployment of big ideas for creatively-driven pitches and presentations, including ideation, development and execution.

- Assist with the strategic vision, working across product, merchandising, retail and marketing teams to establish a brand road map that integrates all customer touch points. And develop best in class partnerships to achieve brand growth objectives.

- Ensures the success in translation of defining qualities of the brand through best-in-class merchandising execution.

- Identify innovations and actionable insights to further enhance branding of a product.
- Forecast future trends to be able to be one step ahead from the competition. Deliver a deep financial analysis of the brand’s global retail position and provide actionable recommendations that drive growth strategies.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Minimum of 8 years of progressive brand/strategy experience in forward thinking consumer organizations, preferably supporting a global brand at retail.
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field. MBA strongly preferred.

Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:

- Expertise at implementation of a fully integrated marketing program.
- International experience and global perspective.
- Fully knowledgeable about the brand strategy blueprint, and be able to provide/ partner with the Global Franchise Leader and the Leaders around the blueprint to inform the marketing and merchandising execution.
- With a mindset that combines insight analytics, shopper marketing, big brand visioning and collaboration, you will be held to a high bar to create new paradigms for marketing and merchandising excellence. This high-profile opportunity is not simply about following what others have done, but to find new ways to market our brands and drive successful partnerships and revenue across brands, categories and channels of distribution.

Critical Skills:

- Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
- Expertise in transforming a strategy and vision into actionable plans.
- Excellent analytical skills
- Expertise in developing world class, leading edge media, licensing, advertising and promotions campaigns.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Well developed, verbal, written and presentation skills.
