Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe Hasbro BV ('the Company') provides sales/marketing and other services to HET and HIT in the Netherlands. Hasbro Emerging Markets BV ('the Company') provides services to Hasbro SA in supporting its third party distributor markets.
About the Role: You will need to be proficient in German and English, and understand German and English Employment Law. Previous experience working with work councils in Germany is essential. We are seeking a forward-thinking, proactive, and confident HR Generalist who excels at problem-solving and multi-tasking. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR Enablement function for selected markets, including Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute HR initiatives to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in selected European markets.
- Foster a cohesive employee experience that aligns with our company’s culture and leadership principles.
- Serve as a key resource for employees and managers, ensuring the successful deployment of HR policies and processes.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers.
- Facilitate key HR activities such as talent management, engagement, learning and development, career coaching, mentoring, employee relations, and performance management.
- Collaborate with the global enablement team, HRBPs, and COEs to improve the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Align with the regional enablement team to ensure local execution of tasks supports overarching HR and company priorities.
- Act as an advocate for employee concerns, providing the leadership team with insights on employee sentiment, workplace culture, and morale within the selected countries you will support.
- Ensure compliance with local employment legislation and adherence to company policies.
- Support the execution and management of HR policies and practices within the country, adhering to the strategic direction set by regional HR leadership.
- Work closely with the company's shared services centre to deliver efficient HR services to employees within the country.
- Support organizational change management at the country level, facilitating smooth transitions during periods of change.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues within the country, conducting thorough investigations when necessary.
You will need:
- Fluent in German and English
- Experience of working with the German Work Council
- Strong understanding of German and English Employment Law
- Data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Collaborative and influential HR leadership skills.
- Proven experience in Human Resources, with a strong operational background.
- Proven experience in the successful implementation of HR initiatives and programs that have a direct impact on business performance.
- Knowledge of HR operations, systems, and industry best practices.
- Experience in a global or multi-regional organization is beneficial, with a keen understanding of cultural nuances within the country.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in engaging effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.
