About the role
Teamwork and entrepreneurship are essential for a successful fulfilment of this job. As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be the lead manager of a portfolio of key-business partners with the main target to strengthen the relationship and grow our business together. This means that you'll play an important role in Hasbro’s future growth and success in the Benelux market. 


To be successful in this role it’s important to be a strategic communicator and a true talent in relationship building. We are looking for a highly adaptable candidate who can switch between long-term strategic initiatives one moment and pivot into rapid, tactical actions the next.


Your core responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Support and monitor execution of joint business plans and implement KPI’s to track performance together with your key-retail partners. 
  • Build and maintain multi-level business relationships with our business partners.
  • Support with the creation of optimized and commercially viable proposals based on EU Trading terms and allowances.
  • Oversee pragmatic sales forecasting based on demand and sell out (base line and incremental volume).
  • Support the joint marketing activation and promotional planning process including post promotional analysis & ROI.
  • Present the annual Terms & Conditions agreement and support to drive them to conclusion within the financial allowances’ targets. 
  • In cooperation with the Business Analyst coordinate and assess overall effectiveness of the plans and support to create new options and ideas to deliver to the objectives.
  • Build growth case with size of the prize calculations, articulates relevant category insights to support the opportunities to customers.

 

About You
You are an experienced Key Account Manager who understands and demonstrates what is needed to be successful in a fast-paced consumer goods company. Ideally, you have at least 5 years Key Account Management experience within an A-brand consumer goods business. 

 

You are a confident person able to sell concepts effectively by creating buy-in from customers. You understand market trends and can adjust the business plans accordingly to meet the targets and you can track long term objectives via short term actions.

 

You are able to understand shopper need states and shopping missions which you can translate into recommending commercial activation plans to serve identified shopper need states. You can support our Category Management team with meaningful insights coming from internal and external resources.

 

You have the skills to tell strong, relevant and consistent stories, persuade and engage audience whilst taking the customer to the brand and category journey. You understand the need of the audience, and you can inspire, drive engagement, elevate level of partnership by showing the benefits of our brands.

 

You will need to have/to be:  

  • Action orientated self-motivated sales professional with demonstrable business acumen
  • Manage multiple stakeholder experiences within a multi-channel retail buying environment
  • Languages: Dutch and English (verbal & in writing)
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and passion
  • Clear, persuasive, verbal and written communication skills including active listening ability
  • Team player
  • Ability to navigates complex matrices
