Hasbro's Quality Assurance team is seeking an Associate Reliability Engineer!


Our Quality Assurance team plays a critical role in delivering Hasbro’s mission of making the world a better place for all children and all families, ensuring that all of Hasbro’s products are safe, compliant, and reliable. 


In this role, you will be responsible to help drive Hasbro’s mission by working as a cross-functional team member on several Hasbro product lines.

With the support of the QA team, the Associate Reliability Engineer will be responsible for reviewing toy and game concepts throughout development, identifying product risks, assigning appropriate test specifications, and ensuring acceptable test results.

This role will partner with a wide range of cross-functional teams in our corporate offices including Design and Development, Marketing, Operations, Consumer Care, and Legal. Additionally, you will partner closely with Quality Assurance team members in Hong Kong, China, and other locations around the globe close to our product vendors.


A Day in the Life of an Associate Reliability Engineer:

  • Learn about Hasbro’s product development process and the role of each team member.
  • Meet with Quality Assurance team members to discuss lessons learned from past products.
  • Attend training to learn more about Hasbro’s Safety and Reliability Specifications (SRSs), which outline safety, compliance, and reliability requirements for various types of products.
  • Provide input on product concepts and samples.
  • Write test plans to ensure products meet or exceed all global regulatory standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments to address product-specific safety and reliability concerns.
  • Interpret test reports and align with team regarding appropriate action plans.
  • Monitor consumer complaints; review product returns from our Consumer Care team; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Continuously learn more about the continuously evolving global toy standards.
  • Represent the Quality Assurance team in cross-functional development meetings.
  • Communicate with Hasbro Far East employees via email and video conferencing.
  • Play with TOYS!


What You’ll Bring:

  • A passion for making the world a better place for all children and all families.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum Education level: BS Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
  • Up to 2 years of work experience in a consumer product manufacturing, quality, product development or test lab environment (related internship and co-op experience included).
