Skeleton Key is a game development studio and division of Wizards of the Coast. We are a group of industry veterans who are guided by the belief that empowering our teams and providing the necessary time, tools, and support we can foster a creative culture where everyone can do their best work.

 

Our studio is located in Austin, TX, and we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Office Manager to join us. This role requires local availability to support our Austin-based studio operations.

 

Reporting to the studio General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the studio. This position is responsible for office management, facilities coordination, shipping and logistics, and administrative support, while also providing executive assistance to the Studio GM as needed. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and leadership to ensure the studio runs smoothly and efficiently.

 

What you'll do:

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a functional, organized, and welcoming studio environment.
  • Manage relationships with the landlord, building management, and facilities vendors, coordinating maintenance and office needs.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving for studio deliveries, including international shipments and outbound shipments to remote employees.
  • Track, manage, and distribute equipment, supplies, company swag, and other studio materials.
  • Support studio onboarding and offboarding processes, including office access, equipment coordination, and orientation logistics.
  • Coordinate studio events, meetings, and team activities, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Manage visitor policies and serve as the primary point of contact for studio guests.
  • Provide administrative and executive assistance for the GM, including calendar management, scheduling, expense reporting, and ad hoc requests.
  • Assist with purchase orders, invoices, vendor contracts, and expense processes in coordination with internal partners.
  • Maintain office documentation, procedures, and internal resources related to studio operations.
  • Must be onsite at our studio in Austin, TX!

 

What you'll bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in an office management, administrative, or studio operations role.
  • Experience supporting executives or senior leaders with scheduling, expenses, and administrative coordination.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, facilities, shipping, or logistics processes.
  • Proficiency with common office and productivity tools, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting a creative studio or game development environment.
  • Familiarity with international shipping processes and customs documentation.
  • Background working with finance or procurement systems for purchase orders and invoicing.
  • Prior experience in a dual Office Manager / Executive Assistant–style role.

The base salary range for this position is $80,200.00 to $110,700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
