We have an immediate need for a fun, hardworking and creative marketer to join our Hasbro Walmart team! In this highly valued role, you will be tasked with leading the development and execution of Hasbro-branded retail programs. With a solid understanding of shopper behavior, you will facilitate programs that drive visibility and velocity of Hasbro brands. Additionally, you will elevate our e-commerce experience through strategic and compelling media that will engage the Walmart shopper along their journey. This exciting role will be based in Northwest Arkansas.

 

Hybrid role - 3 days a week onsite based out of the Bentonville, AR office location.

 

A Day In Life of the Manager, Customer Strategic Marketing:

  • Subject matter expert in three critical areas: retail/shopper knowledge, program execution and internal collaboration between sales, category, and brand marketing.
  • Serve as the Walmart shopper specialist utilizing data and insights that support the design of exclusive products, innovative programs and exciting promotions.
  • Develop, coordinate and lead marketing presentations both internally and externally to the customer, Hasbro Global support teams and Senior Leadership.
  • Lead the development of engaging and relevant creative materials, media, and concepts built specifically for the Walmart shopper within the specified brand guidelines.
  • Partner with Hasbro licensors, as well as licensees, to drive collaborative promotions against entertainment events, product launches and seasonal activations.
  • Drive the exclusive product development process (conceptualizing, coordinating, brief writing, financial analyzing) to bring relevant, innovative toy/game solutions that meet Walmart’s value proposition needs.
  • Manage multiple activation budgets and supervise financial measurement and analysis against marketing programming.
  • Assist in leading the coordination of various, large audience events i.e. customer previews/line reviews, sales, and marketing meetings.
  • Establish yourself as a Retail Marketing specialist by sharing key learnings, competitive findings and industry news with Senior Leadership, US Marketing and Global
  • Development teams on an ongoing basis while driving collaboration among such cross-functional partners.
  • Serve as an ambassador to the Walmart team by relentlessly encouraging our Hasbro values, being an advocate for change and pioneering break-through strategies that contribute to Hasbro’s long-term growth.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years of dynamic experience in consumer-packaged goods marketing, sales or retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with the development of fully coordinated retail programs and consumer promotions.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to internal and external partners.
  • Experience in retail supplier environment.
  • A strong ability to influence others to adopt your recommendations.
  • Outstanding presentation skills.
  • Sophisticated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of corporate financials.
  • Positive relationship building and project management skills.
  • A self-starter willing to try new things and think differently.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly and keep performance on track.
  • Strategic vision and in-depth understanding of how the shopper reacts to marketing vehicles.
  • Analytical skills to identify projected sales, forecasted lifts and ROI measurement.

The base salary range for this position is $109,100.00 to $163,700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
