We’re looking for a Risk Management Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who isn’t afraid to ask tough questions, propose thoughtful risk assessments, and help us build practical solutions that reduce operational risk across the organization!

 

Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

 

What You Will Do as a Risk Management Analyst:

  • Manage information collection and prepare submission for insurance renewals and audits
  • Assist and coordinate budgeting for insurance renewals and overall dept spend tracking & trending analysis.
  • Collect and submit claims data for annual independent actuarial review; monitor & report development.
  • Coordinate, process, and manage all billing and payments for our department with AP systems and ensure accurate approvals are granted; including claims and service payments, letters of credit due; monopolistic state premium payments, etc.
  • Assist & monitor reporting and oversight of captive losses / expenses and requirements; provide profitability analysis as required – working with Controllers Group, Tax as well as brokers, captive insurance company and independent actuary.
  • Coordinate certificate of insurance requests; ensuring timely delivery & compliance; also direct incoming certificates to proper fielding questions.
  • Prepare reports and presentation materials as necessary; assist Director on special projects as they arise.
  • Report incoming claims, set up files and monitor; set monthly or quarterly review meetings with all relevant participants.
  • Coordinate and support insurance broker & insurer meetings and relationships.
  • Assist Director in review of risk management contractual requirements; prepare templates & training materials.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • B.A. or B.S. in business, economics, accounting or risk management.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Finance or Risk Management.
  • Strong organization & analytical skills; detail oriented.
  • Effective & respectful communicator, with good judgment and ability to think objectively.
  • Adaptive to constantly evolving priorities & deadlines.
  • Possess high degree of discretion, given exposure to confidential (incl. HIPAA-regulated data).

The base salary range for this position is $64,900.00 to $97,300.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
