We have an opportunity for a Compensation Director to join our Global Compensation team! The Compensation Director is responsible for providing a wide variety of business-focused compensation guidance and expertise partnering closely with HR Business Partners, Global Compensation team members, HR centers of excellence, Finance and business leaders. In addition, this position will assess the ongoing cyclical compensation activities and global initiatives to help evolve our underlying compensation platforms in response to global market conditions.
This role leads the Global Compensation team to provide quality consulting in support of Hasbro’s mission. The role will require an experienced leader who can partner with HR and the business to identify new opportunities to continuously improve our compensation impact.
This role can be located in our Pawtucket, RI, or Renton, WA, office.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.
A day in the life of a Compensation Director:
- Serve as consultant to HR Business Partners and management with respect to compensation matters including but not limited to compensation structure & philosophy, salary management, programs, policies, retention needs, and re-organizations to help support the business’ strategic objectives.
- Manage projects across multiple functions and client groups, applying depth/breadth of expertise and knowledge of both internal and external business practices to improve compensation programs.
- Collaborate with HRBPs/leaders to develop, design/re-design, plan and project management of compensation programs, policies, and processes.
- Create solutions to complex compensation related issues as needed to support the business.
- Ability to navigate change effectively while being mindful of technology and business process implications.
- Ability to influence client decision-making through the use of compelling data and analyses.
- Lead global communication and education initiatives related to compensation programs including change management activities.
- Drive identification, assessment, and execution of ongoing compensation process improvement.
- Manage develop, coach and mentor members of the compensation team.
What you’ll bring:
- Considerable experience and proven track record of leading all aspects of Compensation in a global organization.
- Deep technical expertise with base-pay, short and long-term incentive programs on a global level.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of compensation strategies and policies.
- Ability to operate in a matrixed and global organization, working across cultures.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching and listening skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Experience leading a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to make quality decisions in the face of ambiguity.
- Ability to adapt and learn, as well as inspire change.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.

The base salary range for this position is $165,600.00 to $248,400.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
