The Director, Media Strategy & Operations will play a critical role in advancing Hasbro’s global media excellence across all brands — including Toys & Games, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Digital Gaming. This role will unite Hasbro’s global media teams around shared strategic initiatives and drive the operational rigor needed to deliver integrated, efficient, and high-performing media programs worldwide.
Reporting to the VP of Media & Lifecycle, this leader serves as both a strategic right hand and operational driver — ensuring Hasbro’s global media investments are connected, measured, and optimized across markets and brands. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking, operational precision, and collaborative leadership, helping to translate Hasbro’s brand ambitions into unified media impact.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.
A Day In The Life:
Strategic Leadership & Alignment
• Partner with the VP of Media & Lifecycle to drive cross-brand, cross-market media strategy projects— supporting innovation, process evolution, and organizational excellence across Hasbro’s media ecosystem.
• Facilitate collaboration across Hasbro’s global media organization, connecting team around shared strategic priorities and frameworks.
• Lead the development of unified media narratives that articulate Hasbro’s media goals, strategic shifts, and investment approach.
Operational Excellence
• Oversee the global media budgeting and forecasting process ensuring accuracy, consistency, and transparency across brands and regions.
• Streamline media operations and workflows, improving efficiency in planning, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage agency coordination and external partners to optimize performance, collaboration, and commercial outcomes.
• Support the development and management of contracts, scopes of work, and partnership terms across agencies and key vendors, ensuring alignment with Hasbro’s strategic and financial objectives.
• Identify and implement tools and systems that enhance media planning, budgeting, reporting, and measurement efficiency.
What you'll bring:
• 10+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, or operations, ideally within a global organization or agency environment.
• Proven success managing large, complex media budgets and driving operational transformation across diverse markets or brands.
• Experience with media, with an understanding of digital, social, and traditional media ecosystems.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into actionable frameworks and processes.
• Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing across global, matrixed organizations.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills — able to synthesize complex ideas into compelling narratives for multiple audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver with a passion for collaboration and efficiency.

The base salary range for this position is $151,920.00 to $227,800.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
