Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA.

This position partners closely with HR leaders and program owners to ensure consistent, well-managed delivery of learning and engagement programs. The specialist will independently drive key workstreams, improve processes, and create clear documentation and reporting.

 

What You Will Do As A Learning & Engagement Specialist:

Learning & Development Support:

  • Be responsible for the operational delivery of in-person and virtual learning programs, sessions, workshops, and conferences for employees at all levels, ensuring a consistent participant experience and on-time execution.
  • Lead end-to-end logistics including venue selection, trainer coordination, and technology/equipment needs; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Administer registration workflows, attendance tracking, and completion reporting in learning systems; validate data quality and produce insights to inform program decisions.
  • Maintain training calendars, program documentation, and communications; develop repeatable templates and guidance to improve clarity and reduce cycle time.

Event Production & Engagement:

  • Drive planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, including brand celebrations, recognition events, and team-building activities, in partnership with program owners.
  • Lead event logistics (vendors, catering, technology setup, materials) and manage run-of-show details to ensure a high-quality, inclusive experience.
  • Build and deliver recurring reporting on training participation, engagement metrics, budget status, and program outcomes; synthesize findings for HR and leadership audiences.
  • Provide on-site support as needed for live events, delivering real-time coordination, issue resolution, and adjustments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Work with HR colleagues to turn data into actionable insights that aid long-term planning and decision-making. Suggest and apply improvements to enhance program reach, efficiency, and employee experience.

Belonging & Inclusion Initiatives:

  • Coordinate programs and campaigns that promote belonging and inclusion across the organization, ensuring strong operational rigor and consistent communications.
  • Provide operational support to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and belonging councils, including planning cadence, materials, and coordination.
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to program owners by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, including budget tracking and communications planning.

Vendor Management:

  • Serve as point of contact for L&D and event vendors; handle contracting workflows, track deliverables and renewals, and review/process invoices in partnership with procurement and finance.
  • Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to support compliance with purchasing requirements; resolve exceptions and communicate status to team members.

 

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, Learning & Development, program operations, employee engagement/event production, or related roles with demonstrated ownership of complex deliverables.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; ability to build repeatable reporting, analyze trends, and communicate insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to improve processes, develop documentation, and collaborate with numerous partners.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready updates and guidance.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; comfortable operating with ambiguity and influencing without authority.
  • Commitment to teamwork and relationship building across a global organization.

The base salary range for this position is $66,700.00 to $100,100.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
