At Hasbro, our mission is to entertain and connect generations of fans through the wonder of storytelling and exhilaration of play. We’re looking for adventurous and curious people who want to explore, experiment, and innovate to come up with the best ideas. Our culture has inspired our diverse team of highly skilled, highly creative, and highly committed individuals for 100 years and we believe the best is yet to come.
We're hiring a Principal, Technical Product Manager to own and transform Hasbro's digital content and product information technology portfolio. This is a highly influential, hands-on role that combines portfolio management, technology rationalization, and platform modernization. You'll inherit a $5.8M portfolio of enterprise platforms spanning Digital Asset Management, Product Information Management, content syndication, 3D/packaging tools, and robotic process automation. Your job is to make it dramatically simpler, more capable, and more cost-effective.You'll work at the intersection of creative, commercial, and technology teams. You'll partner with Brand, Marketing, Licensing, and Retail partners to ensure the platforms they depend on every day are modern, reliable, and ready for AI-native ways of working.
Success in this role means reducing vendor sprawl, landing critical platform migrations, replacing manual content operations with intelligent automation, and delivering measurable savings while improving the experience for thousands of users worldwide. If you're motivated by taking something complex and making it elegant, this is an opportunity to reshape how Hasbro creates and delivers content.
What You'll Do:
Portfolio Rationalization & Vendor Management
Assess the full digital content technology portfolio to identify redundancy, underutilization, and consolidation opportunity. Lead vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and sunset decisions with a target of $1.5–2.5M in savings over 24 months. Make clear, evidence-based recommendations on what to keep, evolve, and remove.
Platform Migration & Modernization
Lead the Syndigo PXM implementation — the critical-path migration from legacy PIM to a modern product experience management platform. Drive the OpenText DAM evolution strategy, determining what can be absorbed by adjacent platforms and where a modern content lake approach adds value. Rationalize the 3D and packaging toolchain across six vendors into a streamlined, supportable stack.
Intelligent Automation & AI Enablement
Own the Automation Anywhere modernization path — evaluating the transition from traditional RPA bots to AI-native agentic workflows. Identify high-impact use cases where content operations, data transformation, and reporting can be handled by intelligent automation. Partner with the Commercial Technology team to connect content platform capabilities with planning and forecasting workflows.
Content & Creative Operations Impact
Improve the reliability and speed of content syndication to retail partners worldwide. Strengthen the connection between Brand, Licensing, and Commercial teams through better-integrated content platforms. Support faster creative-to-shelf cycles by removing friction from digital asset workflows.
Team Leadership & Enterprise Partnership
Lead a team of approximately 16 across content operations and applications development. Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Infrastructure teams to ensure platform decisions align with enterprise architecture direction. Support change adoption through clarity, partnership, and measurable outcomes.
What You Bring:
- Experience managing enterprise content, DAM/PIM, or digital supply chain platforms in a complex, multi-brand environment.
- Hands-on experience with platform migrations, vendor rationalization, and technology portfolio management — you've inherited something sprawling and made it simpler.
- Understanding of AI-enabled automation, agentic architectures, and how intelligent workflows can replace traditional RPA and manual processes.
- Strong vendor management instincts — you've led multi-year contract negotiations and know when to push, when to partner, and when to walk away.
- Comfort working across creative, commercial, and technical teams — you translate between audiences fluently.
- A product mindset — you think about platforms as products that serve users, not as IT systems to be maintained.
- Experience leading and developing teams through transformation, not just steady-state operations.
