Hasbro’s Location Based Entertainment (LBE) team is looking to add an Associate Manager to our diverse team!

 

We need this leader to work through and, be passionate about business development, account management and strategic oversight of three key categories for the LBE Team; events, live shows and traveling experiences.

This individual will be tasked with helping to craft the business strategy of these segments as well as build and implement specific plans to achieve goals across the global organization. You will be responsible for sourcing deals, assessing partners and managing a wide network of partners.

 

A day in the life working with LBE:

Strategic Development

  • Assist developing and driving a long-term, global plan for LBE sub-categories.
  • Identify and recommend methods to improve efficiency and standardize business segments.
  • Develop, coordinate, and align tools, structures, and processes to ensure full implementation of the business plan.
  • Support regional teams during execution, provide evaluation strategies for progress towards objectives.
  • Supervise and measure progress and outcomes of implementation.
  • Identify appropriate and innovative problem-solving solutions.
  • Research relevant industry trends and conduct market research to ensure approach is fresh and in-line with current market.

Business Development & Account Management

  • Identify new opportunities and partners.
  • Coordinate the multi-level due diligence process for potential partners to confirm quality and experience of the potential licensee.
  • Assist Senior Manager in negotiating deals to enhance deal terms and results.
  • Submit and process deals and review licensing contracts.
  • Coordinate with Project Management team on status of experience development during all phases (concept to construction to operation).
  • Work with licensee and internal partners to develop strategic annual engagement plans for the experience to meet business objectives and increase financial results.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of allocated licenses.
  • Ensure compliance of licensees through evaluation reports and regular meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with internal groups to ensure opportunities to integrate experiences into Hasbro led initiatives are fully optimized.
  • Provide licensees and external partners with current corporate, brand or relevant information, assets, and new opportunities on a constant basis.
  • Partner with finance team to handle the invoicing, payment processing and forecasting for LBE business partners.
  • Coordinate with regional LBE leadership team to complete annual licensee performance reviews and business planning sessions.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • We need you to bring your passion for Hasbro brands!
  • College degree with 2-4 years of relevant Licensing experience required
  • Proven understanding of International Licensing and Location Based Entertainment for a toy/game, entertainment, attraction design or consultant firm.
  • Event management and/or experience working with theatrical live productions, also a plus.
  • Validated experience with external partner management and owning deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to handle a diverse workload.
  • Strong leadership skills with influencing capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to build positive relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to present and tell a story in presentations.
  • Build and maintain complicated, multi-step processes, with an eye towards eliminating bottlenecks and seeing problems before they arise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with good interpersonal skills
