This enables us to deliver results in all aspects of our business.</span></span></p> <p>We're seeking a Model Maker to join our team in Burbank!  </p> <p> </p> <p>In this role, candidates will:</p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Job:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the application of decoration to prototype models by using various media and techniques. Decoration must be highly detailed and accurate. The Model Artist will hand paint or spray paint medium complexity conceptual prototypes for proposed projects, decoration aids for manufacturing, presentation samples and models used in the production of television commercials.</li> <li>Communicates with designers, engineers, and marketing personnel to give value added feedback that will help to achieve product licensor approvals, improve manufacturing techniques and solve problems that could arise in production.</li> <li>Prioritizing brand assignments. Communication with internal staff and vendors to relay pertinent information to complete assignments.</li> <li>Provides support to Sales/Marketing groups for presentations of product to retail buyers. Support includes maintaining product at off-site events such as trade shows and commercials.</li> <li>Performs other duties as responsibilities necessitate or as assigned.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Key traits for you to be a success:</strong></span></p> <p>Demonstrates proficient aesthetic skills to hand decorate high quality, highly detailed painted 3D prototypes. The incumbent must be able to achieve consistency when duplicating identical samples and deliver product in a timely manner. Knowledge of decorating operations including spray painting, color formulation, dry brush, water-slides, and labeling as well as familiarity with the process of mixing various paints and tints are required. The ability to multitask by providing complete coordination of specific product brands is critical. Must be able to appropriately prioritize the workload and direct both in-house and outside painting vendors to successfully complete project assignments. Basic understanding and application techniques of Illustrator, Photoshop, and proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are required. Organized files must be kept on all project data collected and confidential material handled with discretion.</p>
