We are looking for team members who are fearless with their ideas and are looking to develop their talents before graduation. Candidates will ideate, sketch, draw and build concept models, while working in an innovative and creative environment. We offer an amazing experience to learn from some of the industry’s top designers.<br/><br/>KEY RELATIONSHIPS<br/><br/>Candidate will interact with Design and Development staff, toy and game designers, graphic designers, model makers and other artists.<br/><br/>Other Key Relationships:<br/><br/>Candidate will collaborate with various departments such as Global Marketing, Global Engineering and Packaging. In addition, candidate may be required to produce a concept design project with other students from various departments.<br/><br/>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<br/><br/>Support lead designer in small doll development and design.<br/><br/>Create concept drawings, control art, spec sheets for development as directed by lead designer<br/><br/>Participate in product review meetings<br/><br/>Present of material and concepts to various levels as needed<br/><br/>Support lead designer in small doll execution through sketches, work orders, transport of product, set-up and display of product<br/><br/>Apply design principles to the creation of product assets using design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat).<br/><br/>Participate and contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently apply on-trend design insight for styling, fashion, color and lifestyle.<br/><br/><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b>:<br/><br/>Desired areas of study include: Toy Design or Illustration<br/><br/>Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specially Illustrator and Photoshop<br/><br/>Understanding of toy development a plus<br/><br/>Quick-thinker, detail oriented<br/><br/>Good attitude and communication skills are a must<br/><br/>Flexibility and adaptability<br/><br/>Ability to stay focused in a fast paced environment<br/><br/>Prior Experience desired in a variety of areas:<br/><br/>Illustration, concept art, visual development, 3D modeling, sketching, rendering, animation, storyboarding, sculpting, along with traditional art skills such as drawing, painting, sculpture. Candidates with an interest in fashion design, color or merging digital and physical experiences are encouraged to apply.<br/><br/>Demonstrated design skills with respect to design trends and product packaging preferred<br/><br/>Interest in toy, fashion doll, chatacter development or juvenile product preferred<br/><br/>2D and 3D modeling<br/><br/>Sense of Fun – Hey, we’re making Toys! Hope that’s something that makes you smile like you were 5 years old!<br/><br/>Candidates must submit an online portfolio to be considered for Hasbro’s Design program. Please include sketching samples, 3D modeling or storyboarding to help us understand your visualization process.
