The Senior Project Manager, Location Based Entertainment (LBE) is responsible for the successful end-to-end development and implementation of Hasbro’s global location-based entertainment (LBE) projects. The Senior LBE Project Manager will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for licensees developing large scale entertainment experiences including theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, live shows, events and exhibits, retail, dining and entertainment, and travel/hospitality attractions based on Hasbro brands. Overseeing and managing project timelines, development and construction budgets, creative and concept reviews, the coordination of activities across cross-functional teams and internal communication across all levels of stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class brand experiences.
A Day in the Life as a Sr. Project Manager, LBE:
Strategy - 25%
- Provide project oversight by facilitating planning, strategy and execution of team objectives. Serve as main liaison amongst various internal and external leadership, global brand management and marketing teams.
- Evaluate regional competitive market activities to assess implications for concept plan in order to deliver against brand and category priorities.
- Work directly with licensee and internal stakeholders on leading the development of creative concepts that are innovative, brand forward and align with the business model of the designated project.
- Partner with the licensee to identify targeted demographics to ensure that the experience exceeds measurable objectives for the targeted audience.
- Work with external Hasbro consultants to ensure creative decisions align with operational planning objectives, such as capacity planning, throughput, standard operating procedures and the overall business plan throughout the development of experiences.
- Utilize creativity and knowledge to lead presentations to potential industry partners for themed entertainment projects.
Experience Production - 60%
- Lead the development of high profile, large CAPEX investment experiences that involve a variety of stakeholders including, but not limited to, internal and external Senior Executives, operators, design agencies, brand managers, marketing and promotional agencies.
- Manage all aspects of ongoing location-based entertainment projects including planning, budget review, scheduling, design and construction
- Lead the project development process including determining project milestones, tracking project updates and reporting, enforcement of contractual provisions and economic terms.
- Establish project plans in collaboration with licensee to determine tasks, deliverables, planned resources, scheduled and amended milestone dates.
- Work alongside the creative team and the licensee to inform the creative direction of the concept and ensure integrity of creative vision through production.
- Oversee design and construction approvals with development partners
- Identify, anticipate and flag risks or issues at the project level that will impact opening dates or revenue forecasts.
- Conduct site visits, production inspections and grand opening supervision to ensure brand consistency, best in class production, fabrication and installation and real time decision making and licensee support.
- Act as a liaison with multiple-disciplinary teams and global partners, communicating project information and securing cross functional support.
- Provide brand information and assets to licensees and continue to keep them up to date on all the latest brand related information throughout the project development process.
Internal Communication - 15%
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to create brand and marketing alignment for branded experiences
- Stay up to date on Hasbro brand information and location-based industry trends to identify opportunities for innovative experience and continued growth for global experiences
- Create and disseminate case studies on LBE experiences to be used as global sales tools
- Represent the LBE team in cross functional regional meetings
Operations - 10%
- Partner with outside consultants to flag and identify operational and throughput issues to ensure experiences are operationally sound and sustainable
- Manage internal process and systems that communicate with legal and financial stakeholders
- Contribute to the LBE team SharePoint to ensure all necessary documents are on the central portal
- Identify and support continuous process improvements for the global LBE organization
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree
7-10 years’ experience in Location Based Entertainment production/project management - Ability to manage 5-10 highly complex, large CAPAX development projects simultaneously
Ability to influence peers and manage both up and down to drive goals - Creative thinking, business minded, and organizational skills are a must
- Knowledge of Office applications and presentation software required
Strong verbal and written communication skills - Able to demonstrate tenacity, be ambitious and capable of developing/communicating a strategic vision for new businesses
- Must be able to travel 15% of the time

The salary rate for this position is $120,500.00 to $180,700.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
