This high visibility member of the West Coast leadership team will lead all aspects of design for these Partner Brands from concept to creation.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>A day in the life of a VP, Product Design:</strong></p> <p>As a key member of the Global Development leadership and senior team, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Builds and leads Product Design vision and innovation with internal and external teams across multiple licensed Partner Brand.</li> <li>Translates top-level Product Design priorities and leads all aspects of overall project conceptualization and design. Responsible for maintaining the overall quality, cost, schedule and development in partnership with other functional teams.</li> <li>Collaborates daily with US based marketing, research and engineering teams to build innovative, robust, user-oriented and consumer-centric new product experiences.</li> <li>Ensures management of external design, research and technology groups, as well as collaborating closely with other internal global development and sourcing teams.</li> <li>Partner closely with Licensors and IP creators to build and translate outstanding stories into merchandisable play experiences.</li> <li>Provide leadership through preparation and presentation of product review meetings and pitches to internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Inspires and guides the Design team, fostering a creative culture through the entire West Coast office as part of the broader Sr Management Leadership Team.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>What you&#39;ll bring:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Industrial Design or Illustration required.</li> <li>Minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in a design leadership role in the consumer packaged goods and industrial design, preferably with experience in global brands targeted towards girls.</li> <li>Experience developing, leading and mentoring high performing teams.</li> <li>Proven project management skills.</li> </ul>
