We are seeking to add a Vice President, Business Development, to play an exciting and integral role in our Digital Gaming and Gambling License business leading relationships with Hasbro licensees! In this role you will lead licensing business development in the Digital Gaming and Gambling industries for all Hasbro brands. You will network with leading game developers across all geographies and all platforms to identify strong partners and negotiate all new licensing deals.  Do you lead negotiations with external partners globally? A day in the life as a Vice President, Business Development

  • Prospect new deals and negotiate long term licensing agreements for Hasbro brands across console, PC, mobile and emerging platforms. Similarly identify and negotiate opportunities in the gambling industry with a focus in on-line, real money gambling.
  • As a business leader, assess Hasbro brand portfolio for innovative digital game opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with game companies via trade shows and on site visits to ensure a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Lead senior level relationships with key partners across multi regional licensees across gaming and gambling industry.
  • Serve as industry expert on digital gaming industry and gambling industry, securing market intelligence from business partners and key suppliers. Educate Hasbro brand teams on industry trends relevant to IP.
  • Work with digital production team and licensees to validate licensee product roadmaps to ensure accurate brand exploitation and quality. Conduct regular product reviews, ideally on site.
  • Assist in reviewing M&A opportunities in the digital gaming industry.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 12 years’ experience in digital gaming industry. Priority experiences include, business development, content development and financial management.
  • Multi-region experience, negotiating deals in US and International markets
  • Shown success in complex deal negotiation and contract oversight
  • Familiarity with brand licensing.
  • Ability to identify and line up long-term value opportunities with potential new licensing partners by building positive relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Expertise as a strategic and positive leader who can bring together individuals to problem solve and develop mutual success.
  • Outstanding relationship skills. Ability to galvanize and influence a variety of partners inside and outside the Hasbro organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • MBA preferred.
