Are you an experienced Procure to Pay (P2P) professional looking for your next challenging role with an iconic and innovative brand? We have a newly created P2P Manager role for the Americas which will lead Hasbro’s purchasing and accounts payable functions in partnership with a newly established Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider!

 

The P2P Manager plays a critical role in our Global P2P Business Enablement function and will help ensure established governance principles and standard processes are adhered to within the operating framework for Hasbro. This is a highly collaborative position that will partner with internal teams on P2P projects, including new systems, upgrades, process, and regulatory changes. In partnership with the Global Procure to Pay Process Owner (GPO) they will support the successful transition to the P2P End-to-End Business Enablement operating model. This includes all countries and entities for the America's region. This is a phenomenal opportunity for someone who has a passion for cultural transformation and change management!

 

This position can be located in our Pawtucket, RI office or remotely in the Eastern Time Zone.

 

A day in the life of a P2P Manager:

  • Be a contact point for Hasbro internal collaborators, and external collaborators such as suppliers, banking partners and government institutions.
  • Build and maintain policies and procedures and ensure consistency in partnership with the GPO.
  • Identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies, working with the GPO and BPO provider to prioritize opportunities and help lead implementations.
  • Be responsible for critical system administration maintenance in the region, such as ERP approval tables, release strategies and handling user access rights and audits. Approve new suppliers and amendments, payment runs, and exception transactions as needed.
  • In collaboration with the BPO provider, handle compliance with SOX controls, tax, and audit. Ensure P2P related accounting transactions are accurate and recorded in a timely manner, such as journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Handle P2P solutions in partnership with the GPO to ensure they are working effectively for the Hasbro business. Review Critical Performance Indicators (CPIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) results and address BPO deficiencies in service levels and metrics.
  • Promote compliant P2P ways of work and be a role model for Hasbro and BPO teams.

What you will bring:

  • Proven understanding and experience in end-to-end P2P business processes including Internal Controls and SOX knowledge.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in leading teams of P2P based professionals, directly and/or through a BPO.
  • Experience initiating and delivering ongoing improvements within a P2P business environment.
  • Experience working with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) required. SAP preferred.
  • Leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage people in adapting to change.
  • Exposure to new technologies e.g., BOTS and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI is helpful.
  • Knowledge of process, reporting and BI tool applications in both developed and developing business environments.
  • Willingness to lead businesses in adopting best business practices.
  • Has a strategic mindset, demonstrates business acumen and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge in business-critical metrics and handling service level agreements.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
