Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for Direct/FOB sales in Europe. Hasbro Danmark Filial AF Hasbro U.K. Limited ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in Denmark.


About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a sales professional for our Nordic team, based in Søborg, Denmark, reporting to the Sales Director. As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for implementing sales strategies with the objective to strengthen the Hasbro brands market position, to grow the Hasbro HET BV business and to support long term company objectives in-line with the regional and local plans in the given key business partners.


Your responsibilities include:

  • To improve sales of designated HIT & HET Customer(s) within Nordic by developing and recommending the listings and promotional strategy
  • To build, implement and supervise full year account business plans
  • Lead a cross section of key accounts across multiple channels
  • To provide account forecasting and phasing, continuously monitored and updated, utilizing sales out analysis and trends, combined with product, brand, market and retailer activity
  • To build an effective business partner relationship, at all levels and departments with key HET & HIT Customers
  • Identify marketing opportunities with HET & HIT Customer(s) within Nordic, working closely with the consumer products and marketing services teams in the development of cross category brand promotions, whilst assessing viability of activities
  • To manage HET & HIT Customer POS, and relationships with internal / external merchandising teams
  • To work closely with HET & HIT Customer’s stock control team to handle Customer stock requirements, stock levels and ensure agreed serviceability targets are achieved


About You:

In order to succeed in this role, you have shown ability to work highly effectively with customers. Preferable FMCG background.


You will need to have:

  • Minimum 4 years of sales experience ideally in a consumer goods/commercial environment
  • Experience in ownership of account plans, budgets and forecasting
  • Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced, changing retail environment
  • Ability to establish realistic plans; identify action steps; and balance multiple priorities
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Organized self-starter with excellent planning ability
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • A phenomenal teammate, accountable, empathic and proactive
  • Languages: Proficiency in Danish and English
  • PC skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Good analytical skills with experience of working with data (POS data)
