Position Summary:

Hasbro’s Brand Publicity team is seeking a Director Global Brand Publicity to lead all aspects of Global marketing communications and publicity. Responsible for setting the strategic public relations strategy, execution and campaign reporting & measurement of all brand and consumer product launches, as well as celebrity and influencer partnerships and all press and media events. This role reports to the VP Brand Publicity. Come join our team!

 

A Day in the life of a Director Global Brand Publicity:

  • Develop and implement innovative global marketing communications and public relations campaigns and strategies to support the business working alongside key partners internally to ensure alignment and success.
  • Execute public relations plans in the US as well as create global tool kits for markets to execute the plans regionally.
  • Develop and maintain Global Consumer Products editorial calendars and media lists
  • Track relevant press coverage, press hits and create reports following campaigns to share with key stakeholders  
  • Prepare executives for media interviews and panel opportunities with messaging, media training and preparation.
  • Negotiate contracts with influencers and celebrities to support our products and/or brand campaigns

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of experience in marketing, public relations and communications, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in forward-thinking consumer organization, supporting a fully integrated marketing program
  • Strategic leader that can lead cross-functional team members together to achieve one common goal
  • Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across various areas of the organization, including global and regional marketing teams, Consumer Products and Licensing, Promotions
  • Consistent track record of leading multiple projects with a shown ability to prioritize efforts based on return on investment to the business
  • Ability to problem solve PR plans and communications strategies that are not working; adjusting to shift the messaging or campaign
  • Lead partner relationships to ensure both sides are benefitting from the critical communications plans and efforts
  • Ability to develop a strategy to respond to crises that result across the organization, problem solve by providing messaging and aligning internally across all key partners
