Hasbro European Trading BV ('HET') is Hasbro SA’s distributor in Europe, which sells to Hasbro SA’s customers in all major European countries. Hasbro International Trading BV ('HIT') is Hasbro SA's distributor for FOB sales in Europe Hasbro Deutschland GmbH ('the Company') provides sales, marketing and other services to HET and HIT in Germany.
Are you a dynamic sales professional with a keen sense of commercial acumen, exceptional commercial and people leadership skills, and a talent for relationship management? We are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Manager to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany. This role would be best suited to a Senior KAM or National KAM with people leadership for a small team, looking to progress their commercial career; however, applications are welcome from all with relevant experience.
You must be open to hybrid working, living within commutable distance to our office in Neu-Isenberg on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
Position Overview: As a Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our business growth efforts. You will possess a can-do attitude with an ownership mentality. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, conducting market research, and managing marketing initiatives. Your ability to build and maintain beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Management: Lead a team and foster motivation, facilitate growth and development, and provide robust support to ensure collective success.
- Sales Leadership: Drive business growth by developing and implementing customized sales plans and strategies. Build on insights to maximize brand visibility across retail channels
- Account Management: Partner with Marketing to execute brand strategies, build strong customer relationships, and manage budgets efficiently. Champion continuous improvement and identify new business opportunities.
- Retail Activation: Set and achieve account goals, develop sales and merchandising strategies, and lead product previews to grow retail presence.
Key Skills and experience required:
- Experience in a Commercial Leadership role, ideally from a relevant or related industry.
- People Leadership experience is a must.
- Strong market research and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative and flexible approach with a real interest in building trusting relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data tools.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software).
- Fluency in English and German.
Preferred:
- Experience in FMCG and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
- Some familiarity with Hasbro's products and market.
