We are seeking an Associate Tax Specialist, Tax Compliance, to join our team!


The Associate Tax Specialist is a crucial role within the Finance Team and will have a primary focus on tax compliance and systems, with a secondary focus in tax accounting. This person reports to the Manager of US Tax and will have cross exposure within the broader tax group. They will assist in the preparation and review of various compliance obligations, including state, federal, and foreign. The Associate Tax Specialist will assist in tax calculations related to financial statement disclosures.  We offer exposure to Consumer Product as well as Film & TV industry segments where you will have an opportunity to learn from a team of seasoned tax professionals!  This is a great opportunity for a highly motived, goal-oriented professional who is looking to make a difference while having fun doing it, at the leading global play and entertainment company. 
A day in the life of an Associate Tax Specialist:

  • Prepare or review federal, state and local income tax workpapers, quarterly tax estimates and extensions.

  • Provide prompt and accurate tax advice to any unit of the Company upon request.

  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly/annual global tax provision including reconciliations of effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, tax account rollforwards and tax basis balance sheet.

  • Assist in preparing US international tax calculations including but not limited to FTC, GILTI, FDII, and BEAT.

  • Tax system superuser assisting with coordination between Corporate Tax and IT specialists helping rollout training to end users. Streamlining and improving processes using technology.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business

  • 0 to 1 year of related experience in tax.

  • Experience with tax return preparation software, and provision software.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with success working in a team environment.

  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, with an ability of balancing tasks and meeting deadlines.
