Digital Operations:  Advanced Analytics and Reporting Intern

Advanced Analytics is a growing team within Hasbro with the mission of driving data-driven decisions across the organization. We are looking for a data-savvy and analytically minded intern to work on our Social Innovation initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Manage scope and timing on 1-2 advanced analytics/data projects
• Work with stakeholders to understand their key business questions
• Identify relevant data sources inside and outside of Hasbro
• Manipulate, recode, and combine datasets to create integrated data sources for analysis purposes
• Create analyses to help support business decisions

Qualifications:

• Analytical thinking - able to find patterns in data and think logically about implications
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookup and database functions, array formulas)
• Experience using data and statistical tools (e.g., SPSS, KNIME, R, Python) to manipulate data and conduct analysis
• Ability to visualize analytical results using PowerPoint or specialized tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
• Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with social analytics tools is preferred (NetBase, Salesforce Social, Crimson, Hexagon)
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate college program.  May 2020 or earlier graduates are not eligible for Hasbro internships or co-ops. 

Candidates are responsible for their own housing & transportation (FREE Parking).  Hasbro headquarters is in Pawtucket, RI which is 1.3 mi from the South Attleboro, MA commuter rail station (we offer shuttle service).
