As part of this coordinated approach, Hasbro has selected Manhattan & Associates Active Omni SAAS solution to be the order management solution to provide a consolidated, consistent and flexible inventory, service and fulfillment experience to our valued customers. 


Hasbro is seeking an experienced Order Management Principal Systems Engineer with a background in direct-to-consumer processes, distributed order management, supply chain & fulfillment operations to help implement, lead & support this critical platform. This role is the solution, integration, configuration and domain authority implementing & supporting the platform on a project and daily basis. 


A successful engineer will need to blend the deep technical and operational experience with the skills to develop and maintain relationships with business counterparts and supporting IT teams. This role will work closely with internal partners across multiple brands to craft, develop, implement, and support the overall solution. Key components will be the abilities to make solution or process recommendations, communicate issues & solutions to non-technical team members as well as coordinating issues/resolution/testing across multiple IT teams and partners.


A day in the life as a Principal Architect- Order Mangement System:
   Requirements Design

  • Interacts with partners to collect functional and non-functional, technical requirements and evaluate processes and procedures.
  • Interprets business requirements and determines solutions to meet omni channel business needs.
  • Builds integration requirements and interface data maps with business and technical teams including ERP, PIM, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Tax, Fraud, Payment Gateways, Web Services, WMS systems, Shipping Carriers, etc.

   Configuration Management

  • Designs/Implements/Develops/Maintains configurations in various Manhattan modules: Enterprise Order Management (EOM), Distributed Order Management (DOM), Call Center, Order Orchestration, Enterprise Inventory, Available to Commerce (ATC), and Supply Chain Intelligence (SCI).
  • Develops processes and controls to lead configuration updates to production systems.

   Investigation/Resolution

  • Performs initial system, integration and configuration analysis and coordinates issue resolution with Manhattan Customer Support.
  • Identifies technical and/or business process improvements through systems and/or non-system changes.
  • Investigates business issues and provides defect resolution or plans for resolution.

   Monitoring & Reporting

  • Proactively monitors the OMS and peripheral system integrations for technical/mapping or performance issues. Including benchmarking & alert management.
  • Builds, schedules and modifies reports and dashboards using SCI Reporting (IBM Cognos) for business users and upper management.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Remote/ East Coast Only
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred but equivalent experience is also encouraged.
  • 7+ years of professional experience with Order Management Systems preferred.
  • Background with the Manhattan Active Omni, Manhattan Distributed Order Management, IBM Sterling Commerce, or a similar OMS is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with payment processing, fraud, tax, warehouse management, fulfillment solutions and ERP integrations as well as a general understanding of the solutions.
  • Technical Skills - REST APIs, Java, JSON, data mapping & SQL.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and experience, preferred.
  • Proven grasp of architecture and integration design.
  • Experience supporting full Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles (including understanding business processes, assembling user requirements, design, testing, deployment and training).
  • Hard-working, positive, team-oriented; must have the skills to communicate effectively and collaborate with all departments and teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, analyze and propose solutions to various consumer, technical and business issues.
