The Digital Artist is a key contributor in the creative development of manufacturable aesthetics throughout the product development process. This role collaborates closely with development partners to produce high-quality product renders that fulfill the requirements of licensing partners and consumers by leveraging the latest digital techniques. The Digital Artist is responsible for generating a variety of digital assets at crucial stages of development, effectively representing and communicating aesthetics for both production and marketing/promotional purposes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and deliver high-quality digital assets for use in digital deco stills, marketing animations, consumer-facing campaigns, and package artwork. 

  • Utilize industry-standard creative programs, including ZBrush, Keyshot, Substance Painter, Maya, Blender, and UE4 to produce fully rendered 3D assets. 

  • Lead the exploration and adoption of new software to enhance digital and photorealistic aesthetics. 

  • Collaborate with Design, Marketing, and Package Art Directors to define and maintain consistent aesthetic direction for small to medium brands. 

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Digital Sculpting, to develop rigged assets for animation and packaging purposes. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies to protect highly sensitive intellectual property. 

Qualifications 

  • Experience: 2–5 years in a similar role. 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation or Digital Visual Effects. 

  • Proficiency in digital art programs such as ZBrush, Keyshot, Substance Painter, Maya, Blender, and UE4. 

  • Demonstrated ability to create photorealistic digital renders and animations showcasing physical products. 

  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

  • Ability to investigate and implement new digital tools and processes for improved rendering of hair, soft goods, motion, and lighting. 

What You Will Bring 

  • Passion for producing photorealistic digital assets and animations that accurately capture all aspects of physical products. 

  • Expertise in supporting product development through digital spec packages, licensor samples, photo samples, and marketing assets. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and brands, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. 

  • Willingness to contribute to specialized, intensive projects, such as Haslab product launches, requiring dedicated effort.
