Specialist Indirect Procurement (6-month Contract)

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Generate spend reports by categories and by suppliers to identify saving and operational efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct supply market research.
  • Lead the purchasing process including RFI, RFP or RFQ by working with various stakeholders from requirement definition to acquisition.
  • Conduct cost comparison and cost analysis.
  • Carry out negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best value for Hasbro.
  • Onboard new suppliers by working with Legal, Finance and Security.
  • Develop competitive contracts in conjunction with the stakeholders, Legal and Risk Management and ensure the suppliers comply with the contract terms.
  • Manage contract approval process.
  • Maintain contract database and periodically generate contract expiration reports.
  • Prepare cost saving and benefits reports.
  • Work with stakeholders to conduct supplier performance / KPI review.
  • Arrange and prepare supplier governance and performance review meetings.
  • Work with Internal Control and Internal Audit to ensure compliance with the policy and procedures.
  • Manage procure to pay process including issuing PO, amending PO and closing of PO.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, preferably in Global Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Supply, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Member of procurement professional body such as CIPS or ISM would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate Specialist Indirect Procurement.
  • Flexible, a quick learner, willing to learn new things and new ways of doing things.
  • A team player with good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Work well with all levels of internal management and staff and with the suppliers.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and SAP. Knowledge of Procurement System such as Coupa, Ariba or Oracle would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
