We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Controllership team where they will play an integral role in our Accounting Organization! This role is responsible for supporting the Global Inventory Accounting Team, through execution of daily operations with limited supervision. They will be a key contributor to the monthly global financial close process, specializing in journal entries, account reconciliations and analyses with efficiency and accuracy.

A day in the life of a Senior Accountant on the Global Inventory Accounting team:

• Prepare, review, and record journal entries for inventory-specific items including E&O reserves, standard costs, MPV release, inventory rework, inventory counts, goods received not invoiced, goods in transit, etc. in accordance with company policies and procedures​
• Perform and review financial close activities and enable timely and accurate completion of inventory-specific close-related tasks​
• Perform and review account reconciliations and gather proper supporting documentation​
• Perform and review variance analyses to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity​
• Prepare and post manual journal entries using both Blackline and SAP processes

• Enable compliance with US GAAP, company policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements​
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of audit documentation in response to auditor inquiries​
• Liaise directly with the auditors to provide necessary supporting documentation and resolve queries​
• Own in-scope SOX controls, including implementation of remediation plans
• Manage and coordinate activities with third-party accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned activities​
• Review accounting work done by third-party accountants and provide feedback and corrections as necessary​
• Act as a point of contact for third-party accountants and to provide guidance and resolve issues

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant designation is preferred.
• Minimum 4 years accounting experience (public company and/or public accounting experience preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, concepts and practices.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, creative problem solve and contribute efficiently and optimally in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SAP and/or Blackline is preferred.
• Must be fluent in both verbal and written English.
• Night call requirement: due to collaboration with the US and UK teams, night calls will be required from time to time, with frequency dependent on needs (ranging from weekly to monthly)
