Review different types of packaging commonly applied at Hasbro, design and develop packaging solutions that are safe and cost-effective.

Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality such as paper, coating, inks, and adhesives.

Support structural packaging initiatives, such as process improvements, material qualification, manufacturing and cost improvements, and sustainability.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends, development, and innovation in paper & cardboard materials and printing technology.

Act as a subject matter expert to educate internal engineers on the right use of packaging material, tackle packaging problems in development and manufacturing stages.

Review competitors’ products and pricing to understand market trends and actively connect with global printers to keep up-to-date with packaging design trends and consumer behavior

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Material Science, Packaging Technology or related field.

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience with consumer product manufacturing industry.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized, and a good team player . Having analytical skills and problem-solving mindset is definitely an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills

Excellent command of English and preferably fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin

Packaging structure design capability via design software programs in 2D & 3D environment. (e.g. Esko ArtiosCAD, Adobe Illustrator & Solidworks)

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment while independently managing multiple projects, partners, and priorities.

Sound persuasive skills to navigate resistance to change and influence people to accept the solutions.#LI-HYBRID
