2026 Summer Frontend Software Engineer Intern:

Wizards of the Coast, (‘WotC’) is one of the world's largest publishers of adventure games, including Magic: The Gathering® Trading Card Game and Dungeons & Dragons® Roleplaying Games. Wizards of the Coast Poland, which is based in Poznan, is developing digital assets for WotC.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer Intern on the Dungeons & Dragons team, you will help build and enhance D&D Beyond’s best-in-class Virtual Tabletop (VTT), contributing to our Maps experience and shipping meaningful improvements to a live product used by a dedicated and expanding player base. 

The Internship Experience:

Hasbro’s Summer Internship Program offers a behind-the-scenes look at how a global play and entertainment company operates- paired with the opportunity to make a real impact.  

Interns are fully embedded on their teams and trusted to own meaningful business projects aligned to team priorities. Throughout the summer, you’ll contribute to work that matters while also being part of a broader global intern cohort, gaining exposure to professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and leadership engagement designed to support your growth and learning. 

What You Will do as a Frontend Software Engineer Intern: 

• Build solutions using the latest web technologies including React, TypeScript, and CSS. 

• Write maintainable features in a team-based development environment. 

• Engage in a shared code base through peer reviews and pull requests. 

• Write and maintain unit and integration tests. 

• Participate in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. 

• Adhere to processes and coding standards. 

• Create and maintain project documentation. 

What You Will Bring (Required qaulifications/skills/competencies): 

• Experience using modern web development technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS3. 

• Experience consuming RESTful APIs using industry-standard practices. 

• Ability to deliver features that are accessible for as many people and devices as possible. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to think outside of the box. 

• A curious attitude with an excitement to learn new things and contribute to all areas of the product. 

Nice to Have: 

• Experience with Next.js and Node.js. 

• Familiarity with AWS and Docker. 

• A passion for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D). 

• You enjoy healing party members in the midst of battle (but all new party members are welcome!) 

By the end of the program, interns leave with tangible accomplishments, a clear understanding of how their work creates value, and meaningful exposure to what a full-time, entry-level role at Hasbro could look like, positioning them well for potential future opportunities. 

Program Details: 

• Interview Timeline: February – April 

• Summer Internship Program Dates (adjust accordingly for Co-op): 

• • Start: Early June (target June 8) 

• • End: Late August (target August 21) 

• Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) 

• Compensation:  

• • Rates vary based on year in school, degree program, and office location  

• • Final rates communicated during offer process but will likely fall within the range of $45- $55/hr. 

• Location: Internship locations vary by role and team. This opportunity will be located onsite either in our Huntsville, AL or Renton, WA office.
