Hasbro Russia LLC (the Company') is Hasbro SA’s distributor for the Russian Federation. We are currently recruiting to fill the following position, working from the Company's office in Moscow.

Part Time Contract 50% - Associate Analyst Collections - Russia

Country & Site : Moscow - Russia / Working remotely possible


Main Purpose of role:


  • To ensure invoices are paid to Hasbro Russia as customer payment terms on the Russian ledger.
  • To identify and act on overdue invoices on the Russian ledger.
  • To follow up with the customer for repayment of disallowed queries (chargebacks)
  • To identify issues that are causing non-payment and refer as appropriate for resolution
  • To provide monthly reporting on issues and recommend actions
  • To support the Credit analyst in charge of Russia and the local Team:  relationships with customers & relationships with sales


Specific Responsibilities/ Tasks:


  • Ensure that invoices and chargebacks are paid promptly in line with Hasbro Russia  customer’s payment terms by contacting the customers before the due date using telephone and email.
  • If invoices are not paid on or before the due date, identify the overdue and take appropriate follow up action
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with Hasbro Russia customers to facilitate prompt payment and identify issues quickly
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the other departments in Hasbro
  • Monitor the unallocated payments and obtain remittances from Hasbro Russia customers so that the AR team can apply payments correctly
  • Reconcile accounts with the Hasbro Russia customers if necessary with the Act of Reconciliation
  • Investigation of certain items on the ledger and liaison with the customer to resolve the issue
  • Provide feedback to the Collections Manager on the status of accounts and any issues
  • Provide feedback to the Credit team on reasons for non-payment to avoid blocked orders
  • Understand and work on the Act of Netting to clear the accounts

Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience/  Qualification requirements:


  • Relevant experience in a Collections environment
  • Russian language (fluent) speaker
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing in English
  • Excellent customer focus and experience of dealing with large corporate customers
  • Ability to persuade and influence accordingly and handle difficult customers/situations
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, plan and organize without direct supervision
  • Likes to pay close attention to detail and respects business processes
  • Likes to solve problems by working with other teams or on their own
  • Good PC skills – SAP, Excel and Word.
  • Very good knowledge of the Russian specificities (Act of Netting, Act of Reconciliation, Taxes, …)
