   We are seeking an E-commerce & Omni Channel Sales Lead to take Hasbro Korea to the next level!

This strategic leader will report to the Country Manager and will have the responsibility and ownership to grow and develop a dynamic e-commerce direct, marketplace and omni channel sales plan. The successful candidate will have experience across a breadth of sales channels but be an e-commerce expert with a mentality that combines a commercial mindset, analytic-based judgment, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will build and maximize plans to enable the business to meet and/or exceed business goals.

 

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Lead and manage the sales organization, merchandisers and promoters with emphasis on e-commerce and omni channel (D2C, 1P and 3P) to set and deliver revenue targets, including but not limited to:
    • Monitoring sales trends and acting with agility
    • Forecasting accurately
    • Partnering with internal teams to ensure we have inventory to support trends
    • Managing new product launches to maximize coverage
    • Exploring new channel opportunities
    • Strategically manage trading terms and promotions plans
  • Data and consumer driven to maximize sell-through.
  • Own the customer relationship at a senior level and work closely to develop mutually beneficial strategies and tactics.
  • Own the ongoing digital transformation of the sales team to develop, train and motivate employees with clear KPIs.
  • Best in class partnership with cross-functional teams including but not limited to finance, operations/logistics, integrated media, and marketing to develop and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Industry knowledge expert: Continuously staying abreast of trends across platforms, communicating new challenges/requirements/trends internally.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years senior sales experience with branded or lifestyle consumer products within last 3~5 years
  • Detailed understanding of running Korea e-commerce business for consumer product goods
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities including ability to plan, organize and lead the work of others, while developing department goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategies.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.

 

[Business Planning / Sales]

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and drive clear short to mid-term omni channel strategy to maximize physical availability with differentiation across online and offline channels.
  • Experience in managing a D2C e-Commerce business model with various marketplace platforms and drive improvement in the operational foundation of the business.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance key account relationships; develop mutually beneficial strategies and joint business plans with aligned KPIs.
  • Demonstrated broad knowledge of channel and product management principles – product choices, inventory levels, and promotional plans. Maximize ranging of “Must Have” skus and ensure coverage of new lines/products in line with marketing plans.
  • Data-driven with comprehensive analyses of key sales data and competitor activity to feedback to Marketing Department and take necessary action to ensure continual expansion of sales in key retailers e.g. Promotional Plans.
  • Experience with effective sales policies and internal sales operation control system, i.e. sales promotional plans, planograming, trade inventories, salesman coverage and etc.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration with Marketing to plan and execute full-funnel customer experiences, including paid and owned marketing, to maximize demand generation.

 

[Leadership & Team Management]

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, including formal presentations and the facilitation of group planning sessions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams and build effective working relationships with individuals and groups at all levels and across the company.
  • Proven leadership skills and abilities including ability to plan, organize and lead the work of others, while developing department goals and objectives consistent with corporate vision and strategies.
  • Proven ability to set and track clear KPIs with sales organization and ensure that all direct reports are well trained and highly motivated to deliver in keeping with Company standards.

 

[Financial Management]

  • Experience with overall account receivable and customer credit line to make recommendation to Finance Manager for the approval of Country Manager.
  • Experience managing customer allowance allocations during the year to maximize sales growth, and work closely with finance teams to maintain spends.
