Daily responsibilities

As a Billing Analyst/Finance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Entertainment division through invoicing and revenue recognition.

Your specific responsibilities will include:

  • Recognizing revenues and billing customers based on contract licenses, digital platform statements, and inbound royalty statements.
  • Reading and keying relevant data into an invoice tracker for all new contracts, amendments, digital and royalty statements to ensure accurate financial information extraction.
  • Maintaining the invoice tracker with a high level of accuracy for use by the senior analyst in revenue recognition.
  • Instructing invoicing for Entertainment Revenue to the US SSC team and EMEA collections team.
  • Collaborating closely with credit control to keep Accounts Receivable customer balances clean and current.
  • Managing delinquency tracking for royalties and customer relationships, including chasing late statements.
  • Offering critical metrics to teams to ensure we are on track and not overdue on any statements.
  • Downloading and recording digital revenue by platform, ensuring timely billing.
  • Supporting future projects to implement the Rightsline system to instruct billing and automate processes.
  • Ensuring controls are maintained and producing monthly control reviews for the Collections Manager.

Skills and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Proficient MS Office User – especially Excel (advanced)
  • Self-starter, independent, driven, and highly accountable for own work product
  • High attention to detail and precision
  • Strong English language skills and ability to interpret legal language
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Flexible, dedicated, and proactive approach
 
Nice to have:
  • Degree level qualification (ideally with a Finance & Accounting background)
  • Experience of a multi-currency reporting environment
  • SAP Experience
