The Consumer Products division of Hasbro European Services provides services for the licensing business of Hasbro International Inc. (HII). We are currently recruiting for this FTC position, based in Capper St, London, UK.

As a Junior Graphic Designer - Licensed Consumer Products, you'll dive into the exciting world of entertainment and toy brands, helping to shape their visual identity and connect with multi-generational fans. Your creativity will drive the development of globally relevant creative assets that support our commercial goals, spark product innovation, and unlock fresh business opportunities.

 

Location: Full-time UK Hybrid; Office based x 3 week (London)

What You'll Do:

  • Design with Impact: Develop world-class style guides and visual materials for some of the world's most beloved entertainment and toy brands.
  • Design Pitches: Creating fashion and trend guides for licensed products 
  • Fan Engagement: Create visually engaging designs that attract new customers and reinforce brand loyalty among fans.
  • Storytelling and Design Mastery: Craft compelling stories and produce graphics, iconography, patterns, and product mock-ups that bring brand narratives to life.
  • Strategic Translation: With the team, translate commercial strategies into design solutions that align with brand DNA and appeal to various consumer segments.
  • Global Insights and Trends: Design globally relevant materials, incorporating light trends/themes to keep brands fresh and innovative, whilst maintaining our core identity.
  • Diverse Projects: Work across a broad spectrum of merchandise categories, including Hardlines, Fashion, Home, Electronics, and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
  • Collaboration and Direction: Collaborate with design agencies and vendors, providing direction as needed.
  • Creative Development: Aid in creating pitch decks, look books, and other tools to drive commercial impact.
  • Relationship Building: Establish strong working relationships with the Global Creative team and key internal stakeholders.
  • Accountability: Take ownership of key delivery dates and milestones.
  • Ad Hoc Duties: Revise designs, check files, research existing assets, and support the team as needed.

 

 

What We're Looking For:

A passionate graphic designer ready to take on a variety of creative challenges with a keen eye for detail and a knack for creating innovative and engaging designs.

  • Educational Background: Degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office PowerPoint.
  • Licensed Consumer Products: Has prior experience within graphic design focused on licensed products 
  • Effective Communication: Ability to visualize ideas and communicate effectively throughout the creative development process.
  • Adaptability: A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and busy environment, working as part of a global creative team with peers based in other time zones.
  • Industry Knowledge: Good working knowledge of the Licensed Consumer Products business (in-house or creative agency), current landscape, future trends, and opportunities.
  • Global Perspective: Solid understanding of regional differences and nuances between markets.
  • Commercial Awareness: Good commercial design awareness and ability to interpret trends.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Highly collaborative and adaptable; open to others' ideas and feedback, shares knowledge and ideas.
  • Process Knowledge: Knowledge of print and digital processes.
  • Flexibility and Enthusiasm: Operates with flexibility, enthusiasm, and determination.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy, attention to detail, and a proactive, positive can-do attitude.
  • Creativity and Integrity: Demonstrable creativity, passion, and integrity.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eligible to work in the UK for 5 or more years
