The Consumer Products division of  this local Hasbro entity provides services for the licensing business of Hasbro International Inc. (HII). We are currently recruiting for this position, based in the local office in this market.

This is a hybrid full-time role, based in our Capper Street, London offices. Required in-office days are Tuesdays/ Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

 

As part of the Global Consumer Products eCommerce team, your primary focus will be defining and deploying best-in-class marketing and merchandising strategies, in partnership with category management and licensees across key eCommerce accounts (will vary by market). This includes working with licensees and their sales/marketing teams to ensure successful product launches, product catalogue maintenance, site merchandising, media planning, and marketing. You will also provide guidance and build tools and resources to assist licensees with annual e-comm business planning aligned to CP priorities, account priorities, and Hasbro pulse/marketing calendars

 

A Day in the Life of an eCommerce Manager at Hasbro:

  • Collaborate with the retail lead, eCommerce managers across markets, and category leads to assess the regional landscape by analyzing current business performance, gaps, trends, and competition. Leverage these insights to identify and support opportunities that drive sales and profitability. Work closely with internal and external media teams on digital analytics to further optimize growth opportunities.
  • Create and deploy universal e-commerce best practices/fundamentals and establish benchmarks for success, continuously developing new assets, strategies, and frameworks to evolve to the e-commerce landscape.
  • With the retail lead, partner with Hasbro Brand, Franchise & Hasbro toy counterparts to maximize revenue opportunities and create a consistent brand and product image across e-tailers.
  • Collaborate on maintaining, managing & promoting cross-category brand stores on Amazon and work with creative designers to adapt to other retailers.
  • Use retail analytics to guide licensees on how to enhance and optimize merchandising efforts
  • Co-manage marketing and promotional calendars (with licensed partners, Hasbro T&G leads, and digital media agency) to drive awareness, conversion, and increase brand and product relevancy.
  • Navigate and manage marketplace brand registries. Work with Hasbro legal and enforcement on managing counterfeits and brand listings.
  • Lead reporting and analysis of performance, with clear action plans & KPIs, by core brand Licensee and/or Category
  • Lead strategy implementation with licensees, key retailers, and create a scorecard for ongoing evaluation and improvement.
  • Work with partners (category, retail, and licensees) to set expectations and alignment on JBP’s to drive e-comm success  
  • Conduct in-depth eCommerce sessions to provide category managers with valuable insights, identifying new opportunities for brands with both existing and potential partners.
  • Manage Amazon relationships across media, retail, and content (ad-hoc).

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, eCommerce, Marketing, or related subject, along with:
  • Proven experience in eCommerce merchandising or marketing experience with CPG, or marketplaces
  • Experience with merchandising optimizations, specifically top 5 e-retailers such as Amazon
  • Experience in online direct marketing tactics to drive sales and ROI
  • Experience with Amazon ads and social media marketing preferred
  • Experience with e-commerce analytics tools and interpretation of digital performance metrics
  • Compelling communication skills to collaborate and influence effectively with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong and positive relationships across the organization and with partners
  • Ability to seamlessly adapt to the changing retail environment and be an authority within this space
  • Quickly identify opportunities and make informed decisions to maximize them
  • Display outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Utilize strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and balancing multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
