At Wizards of the Coast, we connect people around the world through play and imagination. From our genre-defining games like Magic: The Gathering® and Dungeons & Dragons® to our growing multiverse, we continue to innovate and build new ways to foster friendship and connection. That’s where you come in!
Wizards' Digital Games division is building its next generation of AAA narrative-driven experiences, and we’re looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to drive the go-to-market vision and execution for two of our most ambitious projects: Exodus, from Archetype Entertainment, and an unannounced game developed by Skeleton Key.
Both studios are headquartered in Austin, TX and led by industry legends behind genre-defining franchises including Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. This role is a rare opportunity to shape the launch strategy and build global fan anticipation for two original, IP-rich universes.
As Senior Director, you’ll be the connective tissue between studio creativity and market activation. You’ll craft positioning, guide integrated campaigns, oversee community development, and manage cross-functional marketing execution to ensure both titles break through with players globally.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the marketing business owner for Exodus and Skeleton Key unannounced game, leading strategic planning, positioning, audience development, and full-funnel campaign design.
-
Partner deeply with Archetype Entertainment and Skeleton Key studios leadership team to align product vision with marketing strategy, ensuring both franchises deliver a unified narrative to press, influencers, and fans.
-
Lead internal and external marketing teams (brand, social, influencer, media, community) through development, reveal, pre-launch, and live post-launch support.
-
Drive annual and multi-year marketing plans with responsibility over multimillion-dollar budgets.
Creative & Campaign Development

Inspire world-class storytelling, trailers, key art, and social content in partnership with agencies and Hasbro internal creative teams.

-
Act as a trusted partner to GMs, creative directors, and studio heads, nurturing collaboration and clear decision-making across game development and marketing.
-
Build enthusiasm and buy-in across Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to support go-to-market needs.
Measurement & Optimization
-
Track and evaluate KPIs across brand health, awareness, sentiment, and media performance to guide campaign evolution.
-
Regularly monitor player engagement signals (pre-launch community, wishlists, trailer drop-off, etc.) and adjust tactics accordingly.
Qualifications:
-
15+ years of experience in video game marketing, including 5+ years at a senior leadership level in AAA or console/PC publishing.
-
Proven track record launching at least two successful, global, cross-platform console/PC games.
-
Deep expertise in integrated marketing campaigns, creative development, and live operations marketing.
