The Marketing Manager for APAC is responsible for leading the strategy and planning for delivering market insights and player acquisition and retention programs necessary to power Wizards of the Coast’s growth in APAC. This role is based in Singapore.



  • Grow WotC brands and community across APAC through the construction and optimization of an integrated marketing plan resulting in a cohesive strategy to deliver effectiveness and marketing return on investment.
  • Drive continuous engagement for WotC tabletop and digital community across APAC through inspiring marketing programs, content and campaigns in collaboration with HQ based teams.
  • Drive WotC brand recognition across APAC through ownership of storytelling through the customer journey across channels.
  • Strong ability to advocate for optimal resources/investment in APAC to drive robust long-term brand awareness, development and engagement.
  • Hire, develop and coach a diverse and high performing team with a strong culture of excellence, respectful professionalism and ethical business practices.



  • Grow awareness and engagement for WotC brands via integrated marketing plan.
  • Create and drive data-driven acquisition plans to increase the size of WotC community across APAC.
  • Create exciting and effective marketing campaigns and leads its execution through to execution and results.
  • Establish framework for key analytics and success metrics and constantly monitor plan effectiveness and continuously refine the strategy as needed.
  • Drive APAC long-term growth through ownership of storytelling through the customer journey across channels.
  • Plan and execute on the most optimal marketing mix for each APAC country: digital, social, customer communications, events, sponsorships, roundtables, media partnerships, etc.
  • Drive consistency across content in terms of style, quality and tone of voice and optimized for search and user experience across channels including online, social media, email, mobile and video.
  • Provide related datapoints to HQ based teams to ensure high APAC mindshare.
  • Strongly advocate for the most optimal resources/ investment in APAC to drive robust long-term brand awareness, development and engagement while leading with a strong culture of excellence, professionalism and ethical business practices. (25%)
  • Establish and run rhythms of business with marketing team to ensure the delivery and achievement of committed plans.
  • Develop effective internal (to WotC and Hasbro) and external partnerships rhythm of business to anticipate, communicate and advocate for growth opportunities in a highly dynamic industry and marketplaces.  This includes leading and influencing teams across company on the solution formulation for the specific cultural, legal, environmental and economic challenges across region that may affect WotC business in APAC.
  • Model and coach for high achieving, respectful and ethical culture at all levels of an organization both regionally and at HQ.


What you'll bring:

  • 7+ years marketing experience consumer categories with preferred focus on collectibles/ gaming/ entertainment.
  • 3+ years people leadership experience with demonstrated capabilities to hire, grow, develop and manage talent.
  • Proven ability to manage a team remotely across APAC.
  • Drive for results: setting clear goals along with leading and coaching team towards achievement of those goals.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns that include digital advertising, lead nurture programs, live events and social media.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college required with fluency in English with additional Asian languages fluency preferred.
  • Ability to manage budget and juggle and manage multiple priorities under tight project deadlines required.


Highly Desired:

  • Recent proven digital marketing experience.
  • Hobby channel gaming experience.  Paper based or digital
  • Familiarity with Wizards products a huge plus – particularly Magic: the Gathering.


Travel Requirements (% of time per year): 

  • 25% to 30% travel.  Regional markets and WotC HQ in Seattle, WA
