The LATAM Commercial Finance Director serves as the strategic finance leader for Hasbro’s Latin America business, acting as co-pilot to the LATAM General Manager and broader leadership team. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, leading commercial planning, and accelerating value creation across the LATAM region. The LATAM Finance Leader will lead a regional finance team, build strategic partnerships with commercial leaders, drive optimal investment and portfolio strategies to align plans with both short-term goals and long-term “Playing to Win” strategic objectives. 

 

A day in the life of the LATAM Finance Director: 

 

  • Strategic Co-Piloting: Serve as the strategic business partner & co-pilot to the LATAM GM and play a critical role in supporting the Americas President & Leadership Team to optimize the commercial performance and value creation of the LATAM portfolio. 

  • Commercial Strategy: Lead financial strategy across a diverse region spanning multiple markets, varied go-to-market models, and multiple consumer segments. Partner with the commercial team to maximize channel and go-to-market strategies, with a strong focus on key value & cost drivers to maximize value creation by customer, channel, and franchise. 

  • Organizational Leadership: Lead with heart & purpose to develop and inspire a consumer & customer-led LATAM Finance team (10+ people), fostering a high-performance culture that delivers business partnership and analytical excellence and supports a culture of inclusion, engagement, and possibilities. 

  • Core Business Planning Processes: Accountable for leading the regional Finance, Forecasting, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and core business processes (long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management) with passion & rigor; providing real-time analytics and elevating the strategic, operational, and business decision-making capabilities of the leadership team.  

  • Business Health & Sufficiency: Analyze & elevate trends in critical key performance indicators including revenue drivers, operating costs, and portfolio optimization; along with external/internal market and competitive trends/drivers, leading/lagging indicators, and benchmarking analysis to expedite real-time business decisions to drive sufficiency of plans while mitigating risk. 

  • Long-Term Strategy & Planning: Oversee the long-term financial planning process for the LATAM region in support of driving profitable growth and unlocking top consumer, shopper, and customer growth opportunities. Develop a 5-year operational revenue & profit growth construct to deliver long-range growth objectives and support the organization in developing strategies & action plans. 

  • Financial Stewardship: Drive strong financial stewardship to support fidelity of our financial statements. Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and financial standards in collaboration with Corporate Finance and Controllership teams. 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Previous experience in CPG or fast-moving, consumer & customer-focused organization ideal. 
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience with a track record of building strong business partnerships with cross-functional and senior leadership teams. 

  • Inclusive and inspirational leader with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing finance teams. 

  • Proven change agent who can influence, inspire, and align teams behind strategic objectives. 

  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Experience supporting commercial decisions including pricing, trade investments, promotions, and portfolio strategy. 

  • Excellent track record of driving financial performance, optimizing P&L, and delivering strategic business insights. 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies and influence decision-making to key stakeholders and senior leadership. 

  • Experience working in or supporting LATAM markets and working across multiple countries and currencies.
