We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to support the day-to-day financial operations of Hasbro Mexico, partnering closely with commercial and regional teams. This role focuses on strong execution across financial planning, business support, and reporting, while ensuring solid financial processes and reliable insights for decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Support the execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and periodic updates, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Track and monitor budget performance, providing variance analysis and visibility on risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly close analysis and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and improve forecast accuracy through close coordination with cross-functional teams.

 

Commercial Finance & Business Support

  • Partner with the commercial team in the financial follow-up of sales, margins, and trade investments.
  • Support monitoring and control of Cost of Business (CoB), ensuring disciplined execution.
  • Assist in evaluating customer, product, and channel profitability.
  • Provide financial input for pricing, promotions, and commercial initiatives, supporting data-driven decisions.

 

Reporting, Risk & Business Insights

  • Prepare flash reports, highlights, and executive summaries for local and regional leadership.
  • Identify and assess financial and business risks, ensuring visibility and supporting mitigation actions.
  • Translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Support decision-making through structured analysis and scenario evaluation.

 

Financial Control & Compliance Support

  • Support the maintenance of accurate financial records in line with corporate and local accounting requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring timely statutory, tax, and reporting processes, in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure proper month-end close and reporting integrity.
  • Help maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies.

 

Ad-hoc Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Provide analytical support on strategic and ad-hoc business initiatives.
  • Analyze complex financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support ongoing and emerging business needs.

 

Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency

  • Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and improve financial processes and reporting.
  • Support automation and better use of tools to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations.

 

Skills & Capabilities

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Experience in FP&A and/or commercial finance roles
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools
  • Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to translate data into clear and concise business insights
  • Strong communication skills with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with focus on execution
  • Basic understanding of local accounting and tax environment
