Financial Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support the finance team in Hasbro Mexico. This role is highly focused on data management, reporting, and financial analysis, providing critical support to the Finance Manager and contributing to accurate and timely business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Data Support

• Support the preparation and update of budgets, forecasts, and planning templates.
• Maintain and manage financial datasets used for planning and reporting.
• Perform budget vs actual tracking, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Prepare and maintain recurring reports and dashboards (weekly/monthly).
• Extract, clean, and validate data from ERP systems and multiple sources.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards and automated reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies, highlighting key drivers.

Commercial & Operational Support

• Support tracking of sales, trade spend, and margin performance.
• Prepare data and analysis for pricing and promotional activities.
• Consolidate information for customer, product, and channel performance tracking.

Month-End & Data Accuracy

• Support month-end close activities, including data validation and reconciliations.
• Ensure consistency across financial systems, reports, and databases.
• Follow and reinforce data controls and validation processes.

Ad-hoc Analysis

• Deliver ad-hoc analysis by gathering, structuring, and interpreting data.
• Build and maintain financial and data models to support decision-making.
• Assist in preparing materials for internal and management reporting.

Process & Automation

• Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve reporting efficiency.
• Enhance Excel models, queries, and dashboards.
• Contribute to improving data quality, standardization, and reporting consistency.

Skills & Capabilities

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• 3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or data analysis roles
• Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, modeling, pivot tables)
• Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
• Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or data analysis tools is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP or ERP systems
• Solid understanding of financial concepts (P&L, revenue, costs, margins)
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Analytical mindset with ability to work with large datasets
• Strong organizational and execution skills
• Proactive, curious, and continuous improvement mindset
