Key Responsibilities

Channel & Account Management

Hypermarkets (e.g., Soriana, Chedraui)

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to deliver annual sales, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Own the full commercial cycle: annual negotiations, promotional planning, sell‑in/sell‑out tracking, and in‑store execution.
  • Partner with Trade Marketing to deliver impactful in‑store activation and POS strategies.
  • Closely monitor inventory health, turns, and availability to maximise productivity and minimise stock‑outs.

Wholesale Accounts (regional distributors, open‑market operators)

  • Define tailored commercial strategies across pricing, credit risk, and distribution footprint to drive market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships while ensuring compliance with Hasbro policies and market regulations.
  • Monitor channel dynamics to prevent price erosion, grey market activity, and channel conflict.
  • Identify regional growth gaps and onboard new partners or develop territory‑specific plans.
  • Profitably manage key wholesale and close‑out accounts, including DNS ($30M USD net revenue; 11% revenue share), partnering with Marketing and Finance to execute controlled exit strategies and minimise market disruption.

New Business & Channel Development

  • Identify, evaluate, and open new business opportunities, accounts, and channels aligned to Hasbro’s long‑term strategy.
  • Lead end‑to‑end commercial negotiations with new retail formats, distributors, and alternative channels (e.g., specialty, convenience, digital‑native wholesalers).
  • Design go‑to‑market strategies for emerging retail models and expand Hasbro’s customer footprint.
  • Partner with Marketing to translate emerging channel needs into portfolio and innovation opportunities.
  • Evaluate financial viability, pricing, and trade investments to ensure profitable growth.

Commercial Execution

  • Own forecasting, budgeting, and delivery of revenue, POS, and profitability targets.
  • Ensure flawless execution of launches, promotions, and commercial calendars.
  • Lead demand planning accuracy by coaching the team and aligning forecasts to true market demand.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, Fulfilment) to align resources with growth priorities.

Profit Contribution & P&L Management

  • Partner closely with Finance to manage P&L performance across existing and new customers.
  • Ensure commercial strategies support margin, ROI, and long‑term profitability goals.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 8+ years of commercial experience in consumer goods (toys, seasonal categories, beauty, sports, electronics, or entertainment preferred).
  • Proven success managing hypermarkets and wholesale accounts with full P&L ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build new business from the ground up.
  • Strong negotiation, planning, and customer development experience.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Core Competencies

  • Strong business development mindset with a proactive, opportunity‑led approach.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to deliver short‑term results while building long‑term plans.
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient, and adaptable in fast‑changing environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven people leadership and talent development capability.
