Are you a passionate, results-oriented, innovative marketer? Do you enjoy working on key marketing initiatives with a goal to grow brand revenue? In this role, you will partner with the Senior Brand Manager to drive executional excellence through the preparation of strategic marketing plans!

A Day in the Life of an Associate Brand Manager:

 

Under the direction of, and in partnership with the Sr. Brand Manager, you will:

  • Support the management of overall P&L, including making recommendations on pricing and marketing spend, for assigned brand(s) based on brand revenue and profit goals
  • Develop annual marketing plans around new product lines to drive revenue growth
  • Analyze point-of-sale data to understand the trends of the business and provide sound rationale for shipment forecasts
  • Partner with the Omnichannel Marketing & Retail Execution Team, as well as Customer Strategic Marketing and Sales teams in the development of annual trade/promotional opportunities
  • Develop Canadian strategic annual business plans to achieve brand financial goals, including pricing recommendations, shipment forecasting and manage a marketing spend budget across segments
  • Responsible for growing brand revenue and profitability by item/ segment to drive portfolio growth
  • Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build plan
  • Recommend, execute and manage fully integrated Canadian marketing brand plans, including consumer communications strategy, omni-channel media plan, consumer promotions and retail strategy
  • Develop and manage media plans and spending by brand, considering product performance and inventory levels.
  • Analyze POS performance at an item level and competitive activity, along with retailer requirements to identify growth opportunities
  • Partner with Canadian Sales Organization to drive brands at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations
  • Provide strategic input and direction to Global Brand Team on product line, financials and marketing toolkit assets

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive brand/ strategy experience in forward thinking consumer-focused organization
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
  • Proven ability to execute a brand marketing plan grounded in key strategies in a rapidly-changing organization.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
