Job Description
Invoke is looking for Lead VFX Artist to manage our team of VFX Artists working on our new DnD project. As the Lead VFX Artist, you will play a central role in guiding a team of VFX Artists dedicated to crafting exceptional real-time effects for our upcoming AAA action-adventure title.
What you'll do

Work closely with the designers, artists and engineers to define, clarify, and visualize asset requirements for everything from individual features to entire game VFX style guides

Collaborate with technical artists and art leads to define game asset priorities

Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, and deadlines for the VFX team and make sure that the production process aligns with the overall game development roadmap

Work with other departments to ensuire clear communication, efficient workflow, and timely delivery of assets

Identify potential risks or roadblocks and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring that the art team remains on track

Continuously assess and improve processes to increase efficiency and team satisfaction.
What you'll bring

Experience in a mangement position ideally in the video game industry

Outstanding problem-solving skills in devising imaginative and efficient visual solutions for design challenges

Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira

Strong understanding of the video game development lifecycle, especially in relation to art asset creation and integration

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead a creative team and coordinate across departments

Knowledge of art pipelines in AAA

Excellent communication skills in French and English.
