Hasbro is seeking a passionate social and digital communications leader to join our dynamic and growing Global Corporate Communications team! This role will build and implement strategy and establish a presence for senior leaders across various platforms to raise the profiles of senior leaders and enhance the Company’s reputation through corporate channels.  This role requires a deep understanding of and appetite for the social/digital landscape, macro trends, and news, with the ability to write in engaging ways for reputational impact to audiences.

 

This position can be located in either Rhode Island or New York.

 

A day in the life as a Social and Digital Communications Senior Manager:

  • Directly manage social media accounts for Hasbro senior leaders, beginning with LinkedIn, and corporate channels.
  • Maintain social media calendar across corporate/executives, coordinating closely with brands and business unit for amplification opportunities.
  • Develop social media guidelines for top leaders, along with shareable content on big moments.
  • Curate content for channels and ELT across Purpose work, brands, strategy, businesses, etc.
  • Initiate community management to ensure conversation, when appropriate.
  • Conduct analytics to identify impact of increased focus on social channels.

 

What you'll bring:

  • Self-starter with track record of working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record to appropriately set stakeholder expectations and create content for desired target audiences.
  • Knowledge of social media best practices to drive impact.
  • Comfort working closely with senior leaders to understand preferences and create appropriate content; ability to influence, as needed, for the best results.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading social media channels for executives, brands or companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or University with focus on Communications/English
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with comfort and ability to build new area of expertise working both independently and with colleagues across brands and teams.
