We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager of Global Consumer Marketing and Franchise Development for Hasbro Gaming. The primary role of the Associate Manager is to drive best-in-class consumer marketing execution and franchise development efforts for our priority Gaming brands and segments. This role will partner with internal cross-functional teams and business lanes, including data and analytics, product, PR, media, social, creative, design and development, entertainment, digital gaming, licensed consumer products, and more - as well as external agencies and vendors - all in an effort to present our brands to consumers in compelling ways. We are looking for someone who brings passion, energy, and a healthy willingness to be bold and take risks in ways that help our brands disrupt and make noise.

  • Assist in building and executing against marketing strategies and campaigns that delight our consumers and bring our brands and products to life in fun and innovative ways.
  • Identify strategies and creative ways to take advantage of our key marketing channels – from .com to social to YouTube to Gaming conferences – we need you to help us ideate how to bring the best creative to life on our key channels for our consumers.
  • Conduct trend analyses and competitive assessments to inform our marketing approach and help us stay current and relevant.
  • Ideate creative ways to bring our product innovations to life across paid, owned and earned channels and share with the broader team.
  • Partner with internal and external agencies and teams to ensure plans, timelines and deliverables are meeting the needs of our global markets and media partners.  
  • Have a deep understanding of how the product functions, and how that can inform marketing across our Franchise blueprint and omni-channel marketing plans, including (but not limited to) retail, PR, media, social, ecomm, digital and experiential.
  • Analyze and leverage the insights from consumer and industry research to create data-backed marketing plans and creative strategies.
  • Ensure our Franchise partners are equipped with brand strategies, assets and toolkits to create robust plans and executions – and work with internal partners to build and update those tools on an ongoing basis.
  • Partner with the team to develop global share-outs of best-in-class marketing, key project updates and milestones, and successes and learnings.
  • Keep regular communications with global markets, ensuring marketing strategies align with overarching company objectives.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Consumer Marketing, Brand Management, or Franchise Development - preferably in a B2C role. CPG/Gaming experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Microsoft Office.
  • Data-driven mindset: We pair art with science – and are driven by data and consumer insights. This role needs to review insights, pull out key learnings, and action against them.
  • Channel knowledge: Have knowledge of key marketing channels, including digital marketing and media, ecomm, social, YouTube, PR, and retail.
  • Creative spirit, curiosity, and desire to dig in: We win when we have our fingers of pulse of trend, consumer motivations and behaviors, and industry news.
  • Team player: We are stronger together and thrive when we share and build on good ideas.
  • Storyteller: Ability to organize and share sophisticated information in a compelling way using story to persuade an audience. 
  • Organization and detail orientation: The details matter when it comes to executing with excellence, especially as every team member will be expected to manage multiple workstreams at a time.
  • Relationship builder: Strong leadership and networking abilities. This role works with many cross-functional teams and strong daily communication with our partners is a key to success.
