Associate Licensing Manager - Softlines

Our Global Licensed Consumer Products (LCP) team is looking to add an Associate Category Licensing Manager to our team! In this role, we need an energic and inclusive partner to drive support of our commercial leaders within Softlines merchandise categories, with a focus on managing a portion of the Apparel business.

Location: This position can be based out of our, Pawtucket, RI - New York - Burbank, CA office locations. 

A day in the life working with our LCP organization at Hasbro:

Commercial Team (50%)

• Manage and assist the kids apparel business including, but not limited to:
  • • Owning monthly calls with partners
    • Sharing key updates on retail and brand plans with partners
    • Contract and amendment management
    • Gathering quarterly forecast updates and analyze data
    • Partner with licensees to grow the business and strategically plan for new opportunities
• Determine and drive updates to our Master Licensees lists.
• Collect and update Licensee Sell-In and Line Sheets for Apparel licensees.
• Consolidate monthly NA LCP updates from the category team and share internally.
• Support Licensee press release approval through internal teams.
• Collect and coordinate delivery of licensee samples to the marketing teams as needed.

Marketing and Brand Support (30%)

• Help build brand decks to support new initiatives.
• Leverage data and analytics to build compelling pitch material.
• Conduct competitive research to determine white space opportunities at retail.

Legal Partnership (20%)

• Assist and tackle the Customs Recordal process.
• Process and accurately compile Customs/Shipping Letter requests.
• Draft Deal Terms/Amendments and follow through on contracts status.

Finance Support (20%)

• Send and collect forecast/budget template to and from licensees.
• Supervise incoming Licensee wire payments.
• Assist LCP Finance in royalty report and cash collection.

What you'll bring:

• College Degree in Commerce, Business or related field—required.
• Minimum 2 years’ Licensing experience working within a fast paced matrixed business, sales or retail environment.
• Results oriented, ambitious and hardworking drive while showcasing your desire to grow within the consumer products industry.
• Strong base of presentation skills paired with creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm, and passion.
• Ability to encourage meaningful team unity through sharing information while working collaboratively to embrace problem solving

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

• Starting Pay Range: $78,500
• Pay Range End: $117,800
