You will work with world renowned cross-functional teams of graphic designers, brand writers, engineers, project managers and marketers to bring new versions of classic characters to market. This role will also have you working closely with our partners in LA, Hong Kong and Japan.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>A day in the life as an Associate Designer on Transformers:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Brainstorm amazing new ideas for Transformers. Meet with other designers, come up with new versions of the classic character, based on beloved existing characters, while creating new characters that fans will want to add to their collections.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Meet with partners across multiple functions, including graphic design, brand writing, engineering and marketing to develop new fan-favorites and develop refreshed stories for existing characters.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Participate in calls with external entertainment partners and our Studio Team in LA. Pitch new concepts and work to integrate character and story into animation.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Sketch ideas, work with outside vendors, manufacturing partners, and create powerpoint work in preparation for meetings and presentations.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Partcipate in product reviews, drive presentations, problem-solve and discuss projects and ideas as well as programs and strategies.&nbsp;</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px"><strong>What you&#39;ll bring:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Great ideation capabilities, both alone and in group settings; the ability to lead brainstorming sessions and drive progress, turning key insights into jaw-dropping product executions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and communicate complex ideas expertly and engagingly.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Ability to work with licensors-- previous experience in this area is a plus.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Basic knowledge of the Transformers characters (classic and new).</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Engaging personality, sense of humor and willingness to have fun!</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Comfort with multitasking-- the ability to juggle multiple projects at various stages of development and pick up/put down projects as necessary.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size:14.0px">Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is required.
