Hasbro's Nerf & Sports Action team is seeking an Associate Project Manager!

Position Summary

Utilizing strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills the project manager will be accountable for planning, coordinating and analyzing the activities and processes of product development for various projects; to support meeting brand goals and objectives. This includes collaborating with diverse multi-functional teams at our Rhode Island headquarters, and direct communication with product development partners in global offices. As part of the development team, you will be actively involved in defining the initial project development plan, leading our development meetings, and participating in the decision-making process throughout the product development cycle.

This position reports to the Project Management Lead for Nerf and Sports Action and is based in Pawtucket, RI

A day in the life of an Associate Project Manager:

  • Lead and monitor the global development process, working with the cross functional development team, external suppliers & partners to deliver project goals.
  • Act as the liaison with multi-disciplinary teams and global partners, communicating brand and/or project information
  • Create project development schedules in support of the Global Development Calendar, and prioritize activities of the project team members to ensure adherence to the plan. Suggest innovative ideas and methods for reducing development timelines.
  • Raise potential schedule risk to the Project Lead and provide recommendations.
  • Facilitate development meetings and communicate action plans developed by team.
  • Maintain roadblock/action items list for key projects and drive team towards resolution.
  • Partner with global operations to provide early warning of availability delays and adapt development plans based on market forecast revisions.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve management reports and ensure data is accurate in informational systems.
  • Define and maintain metrics reporting for the group. Ability to analyze data and convey information clearly.
  • Identify and support continuous process improvements for the global development organization, and train others.

What you'll bring:

  • BS/BA in business or technical area preferred, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years Project Management experience is required
  • Project Management certification a plus!
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
