The Associate Project Manager, Trade Merchandising will be responsible for managing and executing merchandising projects to drive in-store sales and enhance customer experience. This role involves collaborating with various internal Hasbro teams, as well as external display vendor partners to ensure projects are designed from inception, meet financial guardrails and hit critical timelines to support retailer programs.  This position sits within the Omni Channel Merchandising Team and reports to the Sr. Manager, Trade Merchandising.

 

A Day in the Life of an Associate Project Manager, Trade Merchandising:

  • End-to-end project management – from crafting and kicking-off a display project in collaboration with cross-functional team, to navigating processes to handle checkpoints and approvals, to adjusting display designs as needs evolve, to overseeing downstream production and shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery and in-market activation.Maintaining the integrity of all Trade Merchandising databases (Drives, Sheets, Trackers) and Budgets while keeping all parties aligned.
  • Partnering with the Sales, Customer Strategic Marketing, Finance, and Product Marketing teams in the development of innovative and cost-effective merchandising solutions for Hasbro products at retail accounts.
  • Proactively troubleshooting, problem-solving and communicating with internal operational teams to ensure all out-of-aisle merchandising projects are delivered on time with proper follow-up.
  • Leading weekly project management calls with internal teams as well as external vendor partners, to manage relationships while driving expectations of deliverables.
  • Demonstrating a results-oriented mindset, with a high level of detail in everyday projects, that can make informed decisions in times of urgency and ambiguity. 
  •  Expressing high-energy and eagerness to jump in to support Hasbro’s portfolio of toys and games through retail displays.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 5 years of project management experience.
  • Retail/Trade merchandising knowledge and interest.
  • Consumer products goods (CPG) experience; toy/game industry a plus.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
  • Project Management certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with using Smartsheet and Adobe Frame.io a plus.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint; as well as Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.

 

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $70,300
  • Pay Range End: $105,500
