We have an exciting opportunity for a data storyteller to join our team! Our Hasbro Pulse organization is looking to find a true partner and Business Analyst.


The Business Analyst will act as Pulse’s main point of contact for capturing and analyzing both reporting data and insights to accelerate sales opportunities. You will be asked to measure impact of ongoing initiatives to grow our business. In this role, you will partner with IT and Analytics, Insights and Measurements (AIM) team to develop the technology systems to support our business. This leader will also collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing teams to identify specific opportunities for growth.


A day in the life of a Business Analyst on Hasbro Pulse:

  • Play a meaningful role in Pulse’s growth strategy by using data-driven analyses to support customer acquisition and measure the efficiency of advertising spend.
  • Capture, analyze and partner with key team members, while helping accelerate conversion opportunities through the use of various data tools and analytics which drive share and sales growth.
  • Develop our reporting process and insights and regularly update the team to understand drivers and opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of sales analytics tools and serve as support for commercial teams' understanding of new metrics, context and action to drive share & growth opportunities.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal business partners (IT, AIM, Global Consumer Innovation Organization & Pulse) will be key.


What you’ll bring …

  • Bachelor’s Degree required - in a quantitative field preferred (i.e., economics, computer science)
  • Minimum 2 years' of experience in analytics in an eCommerce environment, consulting, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Significant experience and proficiency with BI and Data Visualization (Power BI preferred).
  • Intermediate SQL skills with proven ability in designing queries as well as make data structure recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Excel (advanced excel features a plus!)
  • Ability to problem solve and use decision-making skills with an analytical approach
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong relationship building skills approach - ability to work independently and with a team.
