Hasbo Pulse is looking for a Category (Franchise) Manager who will have full P&L responsibility of the business category. The Category (Franchise) Manager is constantly innovating on behalf of customers, and you will own the partnerships that get us to the right experience for our customers. You will shape the business trajectory using analytical horsepower, excellent business judgment, strong brand/category management and negotiation skills, and standout complex problem-solving skills. You will work with the best global brands in the industry, of all sizes, and must have the leadership presence and communication skills to represent Hasbro Pulse at all levels of the organization. The right candidates will be flexible, action and results oriented, have strong ownership mindset, and be comfortable working in ambiguity.
You will shape the business to deliver the best experience for our customers. You will work closely with both internal and external partnerships to execute the strategy you develop. You will coordinate with tech teams, supply chain teams, marketing teams, and other business stakeholders across the company to bring your vision to fruition. You will monitor and react to customer needs and feedback. Candidates should have strong analytical abilities, comfort with ambiguity, a trust-but-verify mindset, high business judgment, strong influencing skills, a self-starter mindset, and a keen customer focus. This role requires skills at breaking down complex, high-level ideas into executable phases and juggling multiple competing projects and priorities. The ability to influence cross-functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be critical to the success in this role.
What you’ll do:
- Create long-term category strategies that drive topline growth.
- Partner closely with operations, supply chain, marketing, advertising, finance, and product management to drive the business.
- Develop and implements action plans based on deep-dive analysis of input metrics.
- Drive customer and business opportunities to deliver long-term strategy for multiple sub-categories.
- Own the relationship with brand partners, including negotiations to deliver top- and bottom-line category growth.
- Own category/franchise P&Ls for multiple brands/franchises; develops plans that drive revenue and margin improvement for the business.
- Dive deep into inputs and understands the downstream impact of changes to pricing, selection, and convenience for multiple categories.
- Identify areas that need attention and directs teams to address issues; acts as escalation point, helping team and brands resolve conflicts and/or tradeoffs to prioritization.
What You'll Bring:

5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience.
-
4 years of experience with business analysis and P&L management.
-
4+ years professional experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.

4+ years professional experience using Microsoft Excel & Tableau to manipulate and analyze data.

Proven successful track record in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel.
Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years working in action figure -and/or- physical collectibles strategy, business development.
• Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management and meeting deadlines.
• High-level of integrity and discretion to manage confidential information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Willingness to travel to meet with internal/external partners or attend industry events (‘toy fairs & ‘cons’), when required.
Compensation Range (USD)
Starting: $79,800
Ending: $119,800
